  10. Now the cookbooks are doomed, Never to leave the "Cooking Library" Did you ever see the Seinfeld show when George is at the bookstore and takes a book into the Restroom ? He winds up having to buy the book and he tries to return it, but it's marked for life and he can't even give it away.
  11. You don't have to cook if you don't want to, I do 99% of the cooking/cleaning of the kitchen in our household, I love it when she decides to cook ( 3 times a year ) maybe? Being able to and or wanting to cook is not a prerequisite for marriage, I know people who have lavish well planned elaborate kitchens and they go out everyday breakfast, lunch, dinner. and they are quite happily married. The thought that a woman has to cook is from the stoneage. ;)
  12. 1998 Was the first production year for the 2nd. gen. gs. I have a 98 gs300 and the only problem I ever had was #2 fuel injector had to be replaced in 05.

  18. How about "Wing Windows" ? I would like to see the hood ornament come back into play and the blinkers on the hood instead of built into the mirrors, More chrome is always welcome. Remember curb feelers ? And how about wheel well covers ? AAHHHHH!!! The good old days............
  19. One day there won't be plates, Cars will be chipped and law enforcement will scan your car and retreive the info digitally. Even from a distance.
  20. If I may ask, Where do you plan on going 160 much less 140 ?:whistles: there used to be a tme when speedometers never went above 85(early 1980's). the marked speed limit in my area is 70mph, yet we are buying cars with 306 hp. i don't know where i'll go 140,( although there are places out here in the wild west where you can), i just want the capability. Is it knowing that the car is capable of max speed and not being restricted by the mfg. ? it's probably my own psychiatrical(sp) querk. i don't like restriction on my personal possesions. I'm very much the same way, There is a "Black Box" thread in the recent posts and I won't even go there. What's mine is mine ;) Here it is : http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...c=33687&hl=

  25. This is what I have, I would like to think it would work. ;) Thanks, for reply. But I think this instruction for previous (00-05 GS) models, because it mentions key cylinder. 2006 model has Start/Stop button and no actual key. Maybe somebody has new instruction. Thanks, Sasha. Woops :o An oversight on my part :chairshot: Someone will chime in with the proper info. ;)
