  2. 92-96 changer is what you need, Preferably a 96.
  3. Are you saying that a gs with 113k needs new ball joints ? Why do you say that ? yup. they wear pretty fast on the gs and from what I've read, sometimes you can't tell they're shot until they are dis assembled. search ball joints under gs 2nd gen at CL, you'll see. Will do, Thx for the heads up
  4. Are you saying that a gs with 113k needs new ball joints ? Why do you say that ?
  5. The files are posted in the order one would find them in a paperback owners manual. Happy Holidays :D
  6. Sorry to hear of the intrusion. If a burglar wants to get in they will no matter what. Locks are made for honest people.
  7. Just not so simple to get to the inside of any body panel.
  8. No orange peel on my cars. B)
  9. I agree with the m3/lip spoiler. In my opinion, Unless you have a full fledge body kit and the car is tuned to the hilt other spoilers look out of place and that includes the OEM spoilers.
  10. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all...
  11. Use premium, If you can afford a rx then you can afford to use the recomended premium gasoline. Or you can always trade it in on a chevy and burn regular. :whistles:
  12. Sure, It will work. In fact you might want to check to see if there is a wiring harness in the trunk for a CD player. It would be behind the trunk liner on the drivers side stuffed up on top of the wheel well.
  13. Happy B-Day to our esteemed member - RFeldes And Many Many More...............
  14. For $64.00 buy new, Nice job nc How was your trip ?
  15. If you are looking for used try http://www.taprecycling.com/
  16. My personal opinion is 18's. ;) Welcome to the club
  17. Contact the previous owner to ask what was done, Please post some pic's that would help us with your problem. Welcome to the club
  18. How is your timing? I would pull the timing cover. Roll it up to TDC and inspect for marks. If have you access to a scope, You will need to scope the wave pattern. Inspect the ignition also. JP Importz This whole dual overhead cam deal is new to me.. I have previously only really dug into Rotary engines on Mazda Rx-7's. I am reading about how to set the timing now. It appears that when the belt was removed to replace the waterpump and idler pulley that the "mechanic" did not line it back up right. The previous owner claims that the mechanic had a lot of trouble getting it set. SO.... I am going to try to re-do it. My Father and I race miata's in the SCCA and he has set the timing on his 91 DOHC 1.6. It shouldn't be too much different... Thanks and any tips would be wonderful. http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/engine/timingbelt.html
  19. Is there a CD button on the face of the headunit ? And check in the trunk on the drivers side behind the trunk liner, There should be a wiring harness way up towards the top of the wheel well.
  20. Nice mix

  22. Go ahead and torque those bad boys into the head, Then report back when you change them out.:whistles: Get OEM plugs and enjoy the ride.... If you did a total rebuild top/bottom of the engine looking at 700+ hp you would still want OEM plugs. There is simply no better plug for your car........ I mean PERIOD.........Did I say that already ??? Get the aftermarket parts that you want, But don't jump on these boards asking for aftermarket info, We here are lexus fanatics, Maybe you want to search for another source for your aspirations. ???? Oh yeah, Here is another thread :http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=33501&hl=
  23. Clean the MAF sensor, Carefully they aren't cheap. Use a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol. You probably have a buildup on the MAF. Careful now..............
