The rear window on my driver side pops and rattles really bad. I have checked on Club Lexus and it is a common problem that just needs an adjustment. Tuesday when I went to pick up my car they told me they drove it and didn't hear a thing which really made me angry. I drives me insane. They drove it with me riding and drove on the roughest roads and it didn't make a sound, of course. Now.....it is going loud and clear again. I'm going to try to record it with my phone. Why does the car always behave for the technicians? Arrrrrrrg!!!!!

Ok. The SA told me that if I had the carbon buildup problem it would be showing an error code. Is that correct? My average gas mileage has gone from 25 mpg to 20 mpg.

Niiiiiice! Welcome to LOC I guess a lot depends on how much time and money you want to invest. By far, the best detailing products out there are Zaino products. You will have to Google, you can't buy it in stores. I had a Z28 for 17 years and used nothing but Zaino polish. When I showed the car, people would ask me who painted the car. My favorite response was a robot at GM. I can still tell that car when I see it going down the road.....it glows! Now, the downside. Zaino is kinda complicated about how you have to mix the polish and the hardner. I was using it on my Ultra White. It would make the pearl really pop! I have to admit that the last time I waxed my car I used Nu-Finish. I had some kind of buildup and needed a wax with a cleaner. My favorite wash is Zymol. Comes in a blue bottle and you can get it at AZ. Very rich foam and smells like a piña colada. :-) I dry my car and clean the windows with a product called The Absorber. It is an artificial chamois. I keep it in my trunk in case of an emergency. Just my tips. Hope it is helpful. Shine that bad boy up and post more pics.

I would take it to a place that installs headliners. Sounds to me like you diluted and dissolved the glue. Good luck.

I'll take it there as long as it is under warrantee. I have a back window that is rattling like Hell. I realize a convertible will have noises, but this is so bad I have to ride with the window down some or it drives me crazy. I hope it just need some adjustment.

I know of one in particular. :-) I have had so much fun riding to Tunica and back with my top down that I have had to start wearing long sleeves and a hat. I was getting way too much sun.

I still love my car and every girl at every Sonic has a fit over it. I don't know if there are any perfect cars out there. I had a whole lot of issues with my G37.
