  1. This is off the topic but It doesn't matter what kind of of oil you used or some other stuffs that supposed to fix your problem. Your problem is the valve seals. Replace your valve seals. JPI
  2. Fuel pump located in the tank. Where did you get gas for the past year? Same place? You can turn your key on DO NOT START THE CAR. Hook up your gauge to check for reading. If you don't have any pressure your pump is out. But I would take the car to a Lexus dealership. JPI
  3. What a/f sensor chip? What chip are you talking about? JPI

  6. It is indeed your bank 1 sensor 1. This sensor located by the firewall on the exhuast manifold. Here is a little quick tip; Bank 1 the one in the back: Cylinders 1, 3 and 5 Bank 2 the one in the front: Cylinders 2, 4 and 6 All of the toyota V6 are the same way. Have a good day. JPI
  7. It's your mass air flow sensor. This Mass air flow sensor measure the amount of air going through your engine. If it doesn't work then It would cause the lean condition. Your ECM coudln't determine how much air going through the engine. I would check the Mass Air flow sensor. Do you have an aftermarket intake? I've seen some lexus throwing this code after installing the aftermarket intake. JPI
  8. All the selonoid located in the valvebody. I will look it up again for you. Yeah those parts guy won't know. Gimme the end of the day and I will have an answer. JPI

This is a common problem. When you replace the ignition switch you will need to replace your keys and locks. This is no fun. They were nice to cover the parts for you. Otherwise it will run about $1100 for the ignition key and lock set. Good luck. JPI
  11. It's your Mass Air flow sensor that is bad. If it's under 4 yrs 50k miles then it's under warr. Otherwise you have to buy the Mass air flow sensor. JPI
  12. There could be a couple things wrong with this code. Check your all your plugs going into the tranny, second your solenoid and third your ecu. Most likely you will need a # 2 solenoid. This solenoid is located in the valvebody. If you don't know what you are doing you can say bye bye to your valvebody. JPI
  13. I know a guy in dallas that has a Soarer. He is having hard time to get the car inspect. I think he is bringing that beast back to japan. Let me know if you find a way. JPI

  16. JB welb is a temp fix. It would leak again due to the movement of your exhuast system. JPI
  17. We should make this a rule for the future. If you have a check engine light please provide us the codes. This is most likely the hose from your intake air box came off. Check all your hose connect the air box. Yeah you need to bring the car back to whomever did the 90k service. JPI
  18. We tested the new software today. And it was a big improvment. Thumbs up to lexus engineers. JPI
  19. Lexus just released a new software for your ES300. This supposed to fix all your shifting concern. TSB #TC004-03. Please contact your lexus dealer. They should get the software within next week. This is good news for the ES300 owners. Your wait is over(I HOPE) :P JPI
