You can get the brake fluid from Toyota and most any good shop can do the change out a lot cheaper. That's what I did for all the fluids on my IS300.
  4. I'm not sure if this is the same but there's some discussion of noises here: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...showtopic=28405 I don't think there's been a resolution to the "popping" noise.
  5. Just disconnect the negative battery terminal for 10 minutes and then reconnect. Then start the engine, let idle for 5 or so minutes.
  6. There's a double outlet adapter that bends 90 degrees on radioshack.com that works.

  8. The system checks take place when the engine is started, not when it's put in gear.
  9. I think so. There should be some clips or whatever to hold those items to the airbox or next to it. So except for the strange IAT reading you should be in good shape.
  10. UUmmm, your lucky I like you... :) Well, I had a LT1 Firebird and the IS350 made a good substitute for that.

  12. I think that's right and then the whole assembly of hoses, solenoid, etc has to connect to the fitting(s) on the bottom of the air box. Reach or look under the airbox and you should find empty fitting(s).

  14. I agree. Unless you're a person who just loves to shift gears, get the auto. Even better for something fast, get the IS350.

  17. I think you need to check resistance and continuity on the IAT and wiring. That's a really high temp reading and might be the failure default reading and is part of the reason the car won't run right.
  18. Counting left to right. Pics 6 and 7 Nothing should be hooked up to the two nipples left and right of the cam gear cover. That hose, etc should be connected at the bottom front of the airbox. That's the hose that goes to the gas tank vent/charcoal canister for the EVAP system. Last pic, that hose is hooked up correctly.

  21. I'll look it up. P0110 IAT Circuit Malfunction Intake air temperature. I believe the IAT sensor is on the same plug as the MAF sensor, and all in the same wire bundle that plugs into the intake.
  22. I dug out these PDF's. Find the PCV valve. The hose from that should go to the hose fitting on the round intake tube. The other hose actually comes out of the firewall on the drivers side and crosses over to the right side of the engine. That hose has to go on the fitting that sticks out at the very bottom of the air filter box. insp.pdf draw.pdf comp.pdf

  24. The hoses were on both sides of the Motor does that fit the solution above ?? They're both on the passenger side of the motor as I remember. Do you have hoses or fitting on the bottom of the airbox? Are these the two hoses to which you refer? There was a guy who put on a SRT intake and he couldn't figure out where to put one of the hoses so he plugged it. His car ran like crap till we told him where to hook up the hose. So I gotta say the car won't run right till you get them right.
