  1. i don't think you can get any help from here try http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/ ← Nobody can help since they guy hasn't ever told us exactly what it is he has to install. Mind readers we are not.
  2. ← Near as I can tell this is the general forum/general discussion.
  3. This is the general forum. If someone is in here trying to find out why he has a CEL or why his battery keeps croaking, I'd suggest he's in the wrong place. ArmyofOne is in the service of our country. He's away from home for the first time on his own. He considers most of us as his friends. Cut the guy some *BLEEP*ing slack. :(
  4. The use of salt or sand or whatever during snowy conditions would seem to me to be applicable to all cars including Lexus. That is, if you have to get down to the real brass tacks of it.

  6. If you applied the new SAE ratings to the IS300 it would be about the same HP. A BMW 325 is rated at 215 HP.
  7. I hear Tail of the Dragon is great. Some guys from here rode it on bikes this summer. ← I always enjoy this snake. ← That's neat. A real zig zag.
  8. You'd need a kit with ballast/starters and bulbs that fit the standard units.
  9. Probably didn't hurt anything. If the plug got fouled and it's firing now, it should burn itself clean. If it's running ok and no CEL you should be fine.

  11. they have those here too, i was just looking for something a little more tame on these tires. im riding on some crappy goodyears...bleh.... ← That's Crow Mountain. We had the first annual hillclimb there last weekend. http://www.crowmountainhillclimb.org/index.htm
  12. If it fits, put it in there and adjust the lights to spec and don't worry about self leveling.
  13. Just take a toothpick or something and wedge the button in. When finished, take the wedge out.
  14. http://www.jpimportz.org/ The site is working.
  15. Knowing you got the best possible deal at the time = even better feeling.
  16. In all these years I've never met the person who was able to screw a car dealer/salesman, take food off their table, or shoes off their kids' feet. :D
  17. Whether the Mark Levinson system is in the new IS is just about at the bottome of my list of concerns.
  18. Now that 01 IS Prices have got down into their price range, I expect a demand increase from an even younger group. To me the IS is classic Japanese styling. Every time I drive mine and put it away, I sorta lose the "new car bug" for awhile. I still like it as much as I did 3 years ago.
  19. My heated seats work fine. On a chilly day I can turn them on before the heater warms up and keep toasty warm.
  20. Good luck man. You'll do ok. Hope you have some warm clothes for winter.
  21. It's easy enough and doesn't cost anything to take the car to an auto parts store and have the battery tested. Could solve or at least eliminate that item rather easily.
