Didn't you test drive the SC And LS? Then make a decision, Or did you just settle on the SC and test drive the LS later? ← i owned a LS 430 2 years ago and sold it like a dummy. then bought a corvette conv. then caddy cts, then lexus es300 then caddy deville and now this sc430. i've traded cars about 10 times in 3 years like an idiot.

i bought an 02 sc430 about 2 months ago and the more i drive it the more i wonder did i do the right thing. after driving a LS430,,, nothing really compares. does anyone else out there have an 02 or later sc430 that actuallly loves this car. it looks great but it has so many rattles and is the ruffest riding car even without the runflats that i have ever had.

i just bought a 2002 sc430 and had nothing but problems. it had 48,000 miles on it and paid 42,000. the front left speaker went out, had it replaced. rattle in back behind passenger rear seat. finally...............found problem and fixed it, seat back kept falling off.........fixed that and finally got those run flat tires off for a smoother ride but now they bump. lexus service dept. has been pure hell. they dept my car 4 days when i first bought it then i brought it back to them 3 times which is over an hour from where i live and the 4th time they kept it for 15 days and didnt even know they still had it. it has been a nightmare. i had an 2002 Ls430 and sold it then had an ES300 and sold it and now have the sc430. i love the car but it is NOT the quality car that the other lexus' are for it to be call the JEWEL OF LEXUS.

i have an 02 silver sc430. i researched these same questions and the 2002 thru 2005 are all exactly the same. every single detail of the motor and interior. the only different is the insurance premiums. when the o2 came out, it had nothing to compare it to so it was considered a high performance sports car. then in 03 it was revised to a lower class and was not considered it to be high performance and therefore a lower class symbol and that means lower insurance premiums. i contacted the insurance commisioners and finally got in tough with the head man and he was gonna try to get the 02 revised. but other than that there is no different but the price.

i have traded cars 10 times in the past three years so ....i love cars. i've looked at the z and it's way too small but looks good. the gto is a common looking gm car but good power and the new o6 lexus is350 is awsome. i looked at them and they are perfect. good ride,,,,extra power on some models and it is very sporty. kinda looks like the bmw 325. but nicer. that would be my choice. i have a 2002 silver sc430. good luck

i have a 02 sc430 and my heated seats are not that hot. they are kinda luke warm. the lexus dealership told me that the thermostat had a sensor in it so that in 85 degree weather they wont heat up like they will in 32 degree weather. is everybody else's seats just luke warm?

I just bought a 2002 sc430 and absolutly love it all except 2 problems. i have a rattle behind the passenger's side back seat that the dealership can't seem to fix and then i have brand new runflat tires that came on the car that i absolutly hate. It makes me sick to spend this kind of money on this car.......and have to having something fixed and replaced on it just for it to be like it should have been to start with. can anybody give me the name and address to the district manager in my area? cordele georgia is close to macon georgia.
