yup. my 95 ES had expansion valve replaced acout a year ago-same exact symptoms

imho i think that is one of the lamest gs400s i have seen. i mean it looks like an entire forest was cut down for all that wood grain, and the skulls painted on the engine cover. i think its tacky and tasteless but i guess at the end of the day its still a lexus, im just saying i think its nasty :whistles: ← agreed- those stick on wood grain kits are cheesy as hell, and the engine cover is pretty lame. I'm not that fond of the wheels either. I'll bet that car has has a few beatings in it's time. ;)

what happened is that they did not support the abs sensors when the suspension was apart and it probably stretched and broke the wires for one or both of the sensors. search and you'll see...

they are too big, it won't look right

I'll bet it's your new plugs. I've heard of the same thing happening when oem iridium plugs aren't used. I would first put oem ngk or nd plugs in and see what happens.

I also run mobil 89 in the es. 93 once in a while if I'm feelin generous :D the 430 gets mobil 93 everytime.

are you serious? you paid $5400 for seat heaters!!!!! you got ripped bigtime. did they give you brand new seats? what happened to old ones? pls tell me they didn't keep your perfectly good seats AND charge you $5400. I would call Lexus corporate and demand a refund.

is it the original battery? my 01GS430 battery died about a month ago, it was the original. lucky for me, it died one week before my warranty ran out, so I got a new oem(interstate) battery for free.

It should be on the drivers side where the block bolts up to the tranny(down low). like he said, there is nothing you can do about drls. however, you can change the small parking light wedge bulb in the drls housing. that light comes on when the headlights are on. I put Polarg M4s in mine. thanks-I've allready changed dogbone myself(twice). I'm guessing both fronts and maybe trans mount are hurt, Your mechanic only charges $120 to replace all mounts?

they look like stock color HIDs to me. Looks good, was it all plug and play? if you don't mind, how much$? I would love to switch my 95 ES to HIDs, stocks are weak....
