no, it's not. my 1995 ES300 says "Toyota 2004" on it and it has original radiator.
been through this once before already.
thanks for clearing that up!
no prob ;)
the number on the rad is not the year built.
if your engine did not have a miss before you changed plugs, then you probably didn't push down a plug boot enough or maybe you damaged a coil pack-
imo less is more with the fake wood sticker stuff :)
I use nothing but a damp microfiber towel on my wood. I'd be scared to put waxes and other chemicals made for painted surfaces on it.
hey Nick,
I only have it lowered about an inch right now but it could go down another inch or so. to adjust the height you have to remove the wheel. there is also an adjustment for dampening on the top of shock. Tein CS are a little cheaper to get installed because they come completely assembled. some shocks(like the bilstein pss) require the stock shock assembly to be disassembled and the stock upper mounting parts have to be put on the aftermarket shocks. the Lexus dealer charged me about $400 plus you have to get an alignment.
good luck
chuck
btw- there are pics of my car here
thanks-saw your response on CL too. so do I just clean it with carb cleaner, does that usually work? also, is the actuator part of the egr when you buy a new oem egr, or is that a separate part?

Thank you very much for the referal. This guy is literally 50% cheaper than my local Lexus dealer.
no prob-Darrel is a great guy to deal with.
I have tein CS coil overs and they are nice and comfy but are about $1500. Bilstein PSS coilovers are good quality too and are about $900. the PSS are stiffer and prob handle a little better than CS.

so after the 02 sensor was replaced, about a week later, now another CEL. this time it's the 0401 EGR code. do I need to get a new egr valve or egr valve actuator or are they the same part?
I did more searching and found out it's the one near fire wall. of course :cries:
no biggie though, I already changed it. I just had to cram my arm in behind the motor. it took me longer to get the plug unplugged because it was hard to get 2 hands on it.
thanks again guys. I am getting ready to install new sensor and I just realized I don't know which one is "sensor 1 in bank 1"
is it the one on the front of the motor or the one on back near firewall?
that is great advice. that's what I do too, and before I used to do that, I had the stench aswell. also, spray crisp lenen lysol into the intake vents outside the windshield with the ac on full blast, compressor off, on fresh air intake setting
