agreed. no need to buy a new starter. it's the solenoid contacts. $15 from toyota for a new kit. this link tells how to do it.

actually you can remove the tensioner pulley from the tensioner and clean it out and put a drop or two of oil along the edges of the seal. you can also get the bearing pressed out and a new one put in.
here's the backside of pulley/bearing. you can see that the bearing can be presseed out and replaced.
thanks. the car has about a 1 inch drop on Tein CS coilovers.
the wheels are oem 2006 GS430 (18x8 +45) wheels.
the tires are 245/40-18 Pireli Pzero Nero.
I have 2nd gen with oem HID with auto level. there is a reference point the leveler can be set to. one sensor on front and one on rear. the rear is the only one they have to adjust I believe.
modulator is what I meant to say. my 95 es has the same cel right now. I'm scared to buy a new egr and then it may be the modulator, as mentioned.
I don't have a vacum tester, any other way to check it.
could be your rear end(diff). my 01 GS430 had the rear end replaced via warranty at 23k miles because it made a humming, bass type sound when you let off the gas around 60mph.
