  1. Actually to remove the rear seat, you have to push the seat bottom to the rear of the car and then you lift it up at the same time. Do this one side at a time.

  7. That was my biggest gripe about the ES's front parking sensors........they only have 2 on the corners as opposed to the GS and LS which have 4. I don't know why Lexus decided to eliminate the front center sensors in the ES, especially when this option is necessary for accurate parking determination. How much more would Lexus have to charge for 2 more sensors? Bad, bad, bad!!
  8. As was said before, there is always a certain amount of discharge when everything is turned off, but if your battery is old this small drain can weaken it enough so you can't start the car. I would have the battery checked on a "load tester" to really determine if this weak battery condition is caused by this small discharge. This is the first step you should take before troubleshooting further.

  10. I'm not so sure they use the high beam bulbs at low power on the ES350, but I could be wrong?? P.S. I think they use the low beam lamps at low power.
  11. dc fish suggested we start a "Picture Association Game"..........so I'll start it.
  12. I was also impressed by the ad for the still unreleased, 2009 Lincoln MKS. It has some really cool features. I'm gonna look at it when it hits the market. :) http://www.lincoln.com/reachhigher/?intcmp...Higher_20080604
  13. OK, FWIW: I just came back from a 200 mile trip using my neighbors 2008 ES350. I did notice, on occasion, a slight flare between the 1-2 and 2-3 shift. The RPM on the tach registered a flare of no more than 200 RPM, which was no big deal, as far as I was concerned, and the owner told me that he was never even aware of it in the 2600 miles on the odometer. So, in my estimation, this flare problem was never completely corrected in the 2008 models, and as I said before, IT WAS NO BIG DEAL!!!! ;)
