Squeaky Tires

H8R Proof

Recommended Posts

The parking garage at my jobsite has quite a "smooth" ground.

I notice when I turn corners (going no more than 5mph) the tires squeak. Like they're "waxy" or something. That's the only way I can think of to describe it the sound.

What could be the cause + more importantly a possible solution - or is it nothing to be concerned over?

Thanks :)

i would say nothing to be concerned over.do you put tire gel or spray on your tires to shine them?it could be that or maybe they are wearing and just need to be rotated.if it bothers you like it probably would to me then try rotating the tires and see if that stops it.also look for sighns of warpage or see if there wearing inproperly.

In our apartment building in NJ, the parking garage underneath has a smooth concrete finish. When you turn on it even at 2 or 3 mph, you get all kinds of tire squeeling. I think it has a lot to do with the finish on the concrete.
