oldnfat Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 I've been trying to find a cable to connect a factory CD changer and factory radio in my '93 ES 300. My car currently has a non-cd changer control head unit...I would like to ad a factory head unit and changer, but, from what I've read....it's not exactly "plug and play" Does anyone make an aftermarket or custom cable? Thanks!!
PIONEERSUBY Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 yes i make the custom es 300 cd changer cable. it is 16 feet long and is a rwal cd changer cable with metal shielded wires. if you just tried to use reglar wires thwere would be electrical interference noise whiole cd playing. i will pm you with detals.

bainer Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Fixed mine not sure how though. I took the changer completely apart and reassembled it and now it works. Suppose it could have been a loose connection or an electrical short.

svarog Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 I had a problem that when I pressed the button the cartridge wouldn't come out. I fixed it easy, just gave the door some help by sticking a knife in and pushing it out. It has worked fine ever since.
