  1. Same thing happend to me in my 92 ES today. As I exited the interstate on a up hill off ramp my car started to stall and then recovered. Since then I can not recreate the event. I have a motor mount going out that i am about to replace and I thought that it might have something to do with the engine moving and causing a vacume leak or flexing the air intake plenum causing an excess air to rush in the engine.
  2. I was recently changing some burnt out bulbs in the gauge cluster in my 92’ es300 when the circuit board for the Trip/Odometer buttons on the back of the cover fell out and one of the gray rubber contact mats that is between the trip reset button and IC board disappeared into the dash and now I can not find it. So my question is has this ever happened to anyone else and if so does Lexus/Toyota carry this part and what was the cost?
  3. Fixed mine not sure how though. I took the changer completely apart and reassembled it and now it works. Suppose it could have been a loose connection or an electrical short.
  4. I just recently purchased a 1992 ES300 I am somewhat familiar with these vehicles since I owned a 1993 Camry XLE V6 for a few years. My problem is that I noticed when I bought the car that the bushing in the torque strut was torn, also that there was a slight bump during a stop and the typical clunk when shifting from R-N-D. So I concluded that the front motor mount was shot. I did some checking and found that there are five mounts connecting the motor/transmission to the frame. I can see the driver’s side transmission mount and it appears fine. But I am unsure about the rear mount. Does anyone have any experience with rear motor mount going bad and what would the signs be?
  5. I have this same problem with the cd changer in my 92 es300. Does any one have any ideas?
