benchi445
does anyone know how much it would cost for a factory cd changer in a 98 from the dealer?thanks
dropspace
ok, so if you want the dealer price, wouldn't it be easier to just call the dealer rather than ask us? am i missing something?
steviej
you may find it cheaper from a lexus parts wholesaler than the dealer in your neighborhood. look it up here: http://www.newlexusparts.com steviej

What are you looking to do??...replace a dead changer or add a changer to a car that doesn't have one??? CD changer at newlexusparts.com...WOW 1k...I hope you don't have Nakamichi!! squarehat
$1800 for the Nak--wow :o I know the Nak changer is all digital and uses a fiber-optic link to the head unit, but that seems steep--same with $1000 for the Pioneer. Look around- you should be able to find a rebuilt unit with a decent warranty for around half that.

sk8er251cc
I have a 2000 cd changer that i am selling. I took it out because i put in a new stereo. I am willing to sell for a decent price. Ben
poppabear
I am adding a CD changer to my 97. I got a new changer and the glove box parts for $327 on Ebay. The seller, Sewell Lexus, claims that the Lexus warehouse was getting rid of them and they got them really cheap. Previously, the dealer was asking $900 to $1200. If you are replacing an existing unit, you don't need the glovebox parts. You can get used Lexus CD Changers on Ebay for less.
sk8er251cc
I will sell my es300 yr. 2000 cd changer much cheaper than $327. I can also send pics and everything. The only reason i'm selling it is because i installed a new cd player which isn't compliant with the existing cd changer. My email is sk8er251cc@hotmail.com Ben
