victorwclai Posted October 4, 2008 Share Posted October 4, 2008 I have a 99 RX300 2WD. Curently having problem of VVTi system. Finally, I found that the OCV signal (bank2) output from the ECM E7 pin 18 and 29 gives only noise instead of the 12V pulse signal. I have also checked the OCV (bank 1) and the signal is perfectly a square 12V wave. Is there any way to repair the ECM or should it be replace. Are both bank 1 and 2 OCV share the same signal? For temporary, if I connect the bank 2 OCV together with bank 1 signal, will this damage the ECU? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anyone old enough to remember simple things like carburetors, timing, dwell, and plug wires? :) Taking my 72 Corvette out tomorrow on a 200 mile trip. VVTi, OCV, ECM, ECU. On a car that old, after 200 miles, you could blow a reluctor. And don't forget, you will need to rotate the air in the tires when you are done. BTW, I have a C5.
