lopid Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 I find that slot very useful for my parking card. I think its a standard feature for all Toyota cars to have a card holder somewhere. Of course, if you dont need to swipe a card to get into a parking lot, then the card holder would be of little use to you. But for me that holder is invaluable since it now saves me a lot of time when compared to how I had to do it before; open the center console and look around for the parking card every single morning with a line of cars behind me at the lift gate waiting impatiently.

I use it for my parking stub when I park in a garage.

If they are card holders then why do they have them on both visors.If they were for cards they would have two on the drivers visor .Thebrochure clearly states that the slots are for acoustics.

I don't think they're there for greeting cards or the like. Other Toyotas have these slots above the hand rail on the ceiling from what I recall. Just a place to put a small piece of paper so you don't lose it in your car.

One of my colleagues lost his prepaid bridge toll card key behind the dash of his VW, through a little gap. If he had a "slot" in his visor, he would not have had to have the VW dealer dismantle his dash to get it back.
