    The third on mine is a windshield wiper de-icer, then the 2 mentioned above. Apparently it heats the bottom portion of the windscreen in order to release the wipers when iced on. I don't have much need for it here in Australia. No snow or ice where I live.

    Camera and mirrors work beautifully for me, especially when reversing into the garage.

    Depends on your driving style. I'm 6' and have no problems and sit fairly upright. Best idea would be to take an IS for a test drive and make sure you can get comfortable for a long drive.

    Yep. I love the little extras that just make it a pleasure to drive.

    No. It has a plastic moulding that runs from the bottom of the bottom grill back under the engine. The air comes in the bottom and can then run up over the the whole radiator. there is a small 'shelf' but not restrictive as far as I can see. Hard to tell with all the plastic wrapping.

    Auto, and lots of bugs Engine temp is still where I would expect to see it on the gauge.

    In Australia we get very hot summers, and mild winters, by US standards. Still have the closed main grill though

    Mine is the same closed grill for the IS250. All air flow comes from the lower grill.

    Yep. I can get 2 bags of clubs and 1 pull along buggy in the trunk. Other buggy on the back seat.

    Yep. You just have the dash lights on max. Turn it something less, you should feel a click as it turns indicating it has changed modes.

    Of course you do--it's a std feature. It's on the same button as the rear window defogger. Or the rainX makes sure they don't fog up to start with. But the switch is easier.

    Thanks, but there are very few posters on the Aus LOC. I get much more info from you guys and the UK LOC as well. We don't get the 220d or the 350 here. I'd love to get hold of the 350 :cries:

    Their excuse is that not enough people have complained so far :chairshot: I've only 5000km on it so far, so will wait and see how they go. My seats don't squeak, nor anything else for that matter.

    Got a reply today, after a gentle reminder. They said that as brake dust is not a major owner concern at this stage they won't trial the different pads in Australia. Problem is I initially went in because they were grabby, and mentioned the excessive dust. So I reminded them of the brakes and not just the dust. Now waiting on another reply.

    Camski I'm trying the same thing for the excessive brake dust TSIB in Adelaide. They say they know nothing of it and will get back to me. That was about 5 weeks ago we'll just have to keep at them :chairshot:

    Still no probs with the meatallic tint..... :whistles:

    I put full metallic tint around my IS and have had no problems with radio pickup, AM or FM. I was initially concerned but it has had no noticable effect. Mine is a standard black/grey tint.

    Behind the clock. Between the Nav screen and audio/climate controls. You need to remove the clock facia in order to remove the disk

    I did go for the full metallic. I looks fantastic, and no problems encountered. B)

    Surely you could hit 60 mph before shifting to third with the original intake. The intake doesn't change the gearing, it will just get there a bit quicker if it can allow the engine to breath more easily.

    I just leave mine on. otherwise you have to remember to turn it on each time you want to park. It always lets you know if you're getting a bit close.

    I would suggest it is the phone, but is a setting that needs to be made to allow the IS-350 to connect automatically. My Nokia has a setting that asks if I would allow the device to autoconnect. Otherwise go through the cars onscreen phone settings as it can be set for multiple phones but will only accept 1 as the default to connect to automatically. This may need to be changed if you've had another phone connected.
