  1. I also forgot to tell you that I shaved my balls before I left as well. What else would you like to know? I really think that Lexus should vet prospective clients and not sell to immature spoilt brats .Get a life , pi*&^%^%$ off and get Daddy to buy you something else :chairshot:
  2. Hi Smooth1 I tend to agree with you .How many 20 year olds can afford $36 000 to buy a car (spoilt maybe? ).I knew that the car was small when I bought it and 99% of the time I drive it alone.I just need to fiddle more to find the comfort zone
  3. I am 6ft 3 and also get back pain after about 500 kms .I am wondering if all people getting back pain are tall.I find that if I put the backrest upright and the seat at its lowest I am more comfortable. My wife also complains about the comfort in the passenger seat. The RX is an option but shape is old and needs to be updated
  4. My IS has 7500km on the clock and I get 11.5 L /100 kms.Our best petrol is 95 octane .I don't know what this is in gallons per mile.I also don't know if my figures are any good.Quite frankly I don't really care.I do know it is far better than most of the yank tanks around . Anyway ,if anyone can convert for me ,Thanks
  5. I have the light interior with the Executive black mats and they are great .I love the interior colour as it makes the car look great BUT I will not buy it again .It takes alot of looking after > I would go for the black.
  6. Hi my name is Paul and I live in Johannesburg South Africa and yes we do have roads and no we don't live in trees lol I am a Financial Advisor and own a IS 250 .I have just sold my SAAB 95 Vector and decided that because I am usually alone in the car that I should buy a small car .Not sure it was the right decision .I have also just bought my wife a Honda CRV and I also own a Triumph Tiger Motorcycle. In S.A the only is we get is the 250 !and the SE version costs in the region of $51 250 !!!!!!!!!!!! Previous cars : VW Beetle Renault 9 tse Toyota Corolla RSi 2 x VW Jetta CLi 3 x Peugeot 406 Alfa sport wagon Alfa 166 Nissan X trail only for 3 weeks -load of crap SAAB 95 now IS 250 se
  7. What is a G37 ? I think the paddle shift only comes with the se model range
  8. Those slots are refered to as dimples .If those slots were supposed to be for cards they would be listed as such in the owners manual. I must say that you have me wondering though Its a stupid thing but it is now bugging me By the way non of my cards fit in those slots .
  9. Hi Sean To be perfectly honest I havn't given it much thought.I will study the lights when I drive later today .I am not knocking what you have done I just feel I have better things to spend my money on . Don't forget I stay in the !Removed! end of the world and to get anything imported costs a fortune .When I watch American shows on Discovery channel I get very upset when I see how easy it is to get spars etc for cars and bikes Enjoy your lights
  10. Sorry if I sound stupid but why on earth would you do something like that ? I suppose each to their own
  11. If they are card holders then why do they have them on both visors. If they were for cards they would have two on the drivers visor .Thebrochure clearly states that the slots are for acoustics.
  12. Why would non-ML's, or as lopid notes, "all Toyotas" have it? I use it for my parking stub when I park in a garage. Not all Toyotas have slots in their sun visors .It IS for acustics .I tend to believe the spec brochure !
  13. Those slots are for acoustics.Mainly for the Mark Levinson system.Don't ask me how they are supposed to help .They are talked about in the Brochure Be careful that you don't push your card in too deep as you won't be able to get it out
  14. We don't get the 350 in South Africa .How much quicker than the 250 is it? 0-100 top speed ,etc My 250 is plenty fast enough. If you are interested in speed buy a motor bike !
  15. If you haveto keep change use the cup holder in the middle console between the seats. All you need to do is slide it open slightly and you have the perfect spot .
  16. I think some of you are confused. We are not talking about the section above the rearview mirror. That plate is only there if you don't have a sunroof .We are talking about the place just behind the gear lever where some people have an ash tray. The replace the ashtray with a glasses case.
  17. Crank up the volume-if it sounds crappy then you don't have the ML system :chairshot:
  18. Hi Frank In some countries they still put ashtrays and lighters in the cars like here in South Africa. In others they either put the cover or the glasses compartment. We can order the case but it costs R 1500 /€ 150 and I feel that is too expensive .I put my glasses in the middle arm rest .It is much cheaper. Tell your dealer not to be so lazy and to look on the system for part number. If we can do it in a third world Country then I think you guys can do it Good luck Paul
  19. I have the ML system in a 250 .In South Africa we get it standard in the x package .The system is the same as the one in the GS .Believe me when I say that it is soooooooooomuch better than the standard option.I have listened to both.We don't get the 350 here so I had no choice .What is the price diff? The ML system is fantastic .The clarity is superb .Even if I didn't like the rest of the car I would still buy the car because of the sound . I must say though I do enjoy this car alot !!! I think the sales person is just trying to get a bigger sale .Check with other Dealers.
  20. Swheat I must say that all bikes are great but seeing I have a share in a Triumph Dealership I am a little biased.I don't have an St ,I ride a Tiger 1050.Last Sunday I did a 750 km ride into the country and back for lunch and it was great fun .I would never do that in a car .Not as much fun Happy travels
  21. In South Africa we don't have the auto lock system which is quite funny because we are the hi jack capital of the world .Anyway I hope it is a computer program so they can sort problem out .We will wait and see.
  22. It saddens me to know that a person with such good taste in cars would have a Honda VFR 800 sharing the same garage. The bike that should be there is the Triumph 1050 ST or A Triumph Tiger 1050 .I am glad to hear that you enjoy the bike more than the car so you are not too bad
  23. I am more worried why your car was broken down on a freeway .What trouble did you have ?
  24. In South Africa we pay $50 000 for a full house 250 se rwd so I think all you guys get good prices.
