4 Wheels Alignment

I have a 1996 ES300 with 95k. It will be four sets tires since I brought the car in 1996. The reason I have to replace these tires is not because they wore out even. They wore out uneven. I have my wheels aligned (every 15K-20K), rotated (every 5K) and checked pressure consistently. I don’t drive too fast over the bumpers. Why can’t I keep those tires longer?

After alignment the computer reading is saying that everything has been adjusted correctly. But the tires still cannot keep wearing evenly after short mileages. Recently, I had an alignment at 85K last Sept. I check my rear tires last week that I need to replace them now (only 10K). I am so frustrated. Are those tired supposed to be able to use more than 30K?

Here are the four sets tires.

1-30K Goodyear Eagle GA

30K-65K Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus

65K-95K Dunlop Sport 4000

Or because it is the car matter? My wife drives Acura TL 3.2 with 45K. She never needs to have alignment and hardly rotates the tires.

umm. i dont no, check your pressure every couple of weeks. i cant help with the tire spinning though. i spin my tires alot.

you might need a good suspension check

i see no reason for tires to go that fast

but where is the wear on the tires edges or overall worn out

i might even say you push the car beyond its limits causeing hard wear

The wear is inside edge of rear tires this time. What did you mean by "i might even say you push the car beyond its limits causeing hard wear"? I don't drive fast and I don't spin the tires. Maybe you are right about suspension. But, doesn't ES300 have soft suspension when you are turning?

the suspension is very soft

causing abnormal wear when the car is turning at a rate faster than a snail

meaning the geometry is made to keep the ride supple not create a maximum contact patch of the tires

another thing is

if it is the rear tires going on the inside

if it is at the same ratethen i might even think that there is extra weight

do you carry alot of stuff in the car or ttrunk much

you may need to get an alignment with some kind of load in the trunk

or else the car willl wear alot when the load is added or removed

the wear you have is similar to lowered cars called camber wear

which is the iside of the tires going

but it is because the tires are angled at the bottom outwards causing it to run on the inner edges ,thus more wear

but it is great for added traction in a high speed turn

Rotate the tires front to rear every 5000 miles?

that's what I do, and I don't include the spare (save that for a rainy day, but do check it occasionally to make sure it is holding pressure).

rotating the tires will only help i replacing all 4 tires at once not just 2

but the tires will still go bad in an area they should be

still say it is excess weight in the trunk
