Is there a way to program the door locks to lock automatically at startup, x miles per hour or gear engagement etc? OF course I would want it to unlock when the engine is turned off. I have had this feature on all other alarmed cars but it may have been a function of the alarm engagement. Can the factory alarm be set to do something similar? steviej Posted August 7, 2003 Share Posted August 7, 2003 there is a whole variety of combinaitons that can be programmed by the dealer based on the users preferences for the 02. I have programmed a new remote that required a series of locking and unlocking the door and had hoped there would be a similar way to program the auto lock.
