The IceMan
Had to sell it cuz even though i had the motor swapped i didnt swap the tranny. so i blew the tranny at 160k miles and at the time i didnt have the money to replace it so i sold it to my friend. im lookin at this lexus now cuz its bigger, sedan, moonroof... but of course ive got to be able to mash out and stuff. i heard there was a supercharger available but the gains arent worth the price. also i heard that you can swap a Supra engine into one of these lexuses... SKperformance
welcome but i think you are looking at the wrong car the sc 300 is a supra can be made twin turbo and is a 2 door the es is a camry is somewhat slow ok soft for handling and high on reliablity you may want a sc 300 or the 400 with the v8 instead of an inline 6 got to love those swaps i just did a zc in my ef third engine in 4 weeks but i got a new tranny and clutch to save some time 1500 later
zeta
sk's got it right. the ES is basically a luxury camry. it's smooth, reliable, and is a great daily driver. the supra 2JZ wouldn't be able to fit in the engine bay of the ES, and the ES is a FWD car, so the engine would not work with the drive platform. the SC on the other hand is a RWD sports coupe with the 2JZ-GE engine. the non-turbo version of the supra engine. that would be a perfect car for a supra engine swap. but man... that 'teg is SWEEEETTTTT!!
