sdastg1 Posted August 3, 2005 Share Posted August 3, 2005 Evening, I just purchased a 1992 SC400 with 120k miles from an insurance auction. It comes with a theft recovery salvage title. But the best part is I only paid $2500 for it. I should be picking it up (hopefully) at the end of this week. The car is still sitting at the auction block, I'm waiting for the insurance company to release the title, then I'll drive up to philly and pick it up (hopefully Friday this week). At insurance auctions they don't tell you anything about the car. They dont even release the entire vin number, so you can't even run a carfax on it.
