I Need A Radio!

Hey guys,

Does anyone have an AM/FM/Cassette w/out the CD option that they can sell me for my 1991 LS 400? I just lost the bid on E-Bay for one because someone bid all the way up to $150 so no one had time to reach his bid before the auction ended. Grrrr.

Can anyone sell me one for less than or equal to $100?

i have a 95-97 LS400 radio but the cd changer button does not seem to work but that shouldnt mater since u dont have a cd changer and the lights in the radio had burnt out for some reason so i removed them but everything else works so if your interested tell me and make sour it will fit because i am not sure of that

95-97 stereo will not fit a 91 for sure (the wiring is different). For a 91 you must find a stereo from a 90-92 LS400.

Perhaps an autowrecker or salvage yard is a good place to check if have not been able to find one yet. B)

You can keep looking on ebay unless dcfish has one that works for you. However, I would recommend installing an aftermarket stereo....better sound, more power, more options..... If you're going to pay for a replacement why not install something better than the original? just my 2 cents

True, but what I want is this new Jensen that already self plays by itself like a portable DVD player. Only thing I would have to do is custom make a mount to place it in my dash. It plays CD's, DVD's, MP3's, and has a 8" or 9" screen with it. Costs around $799. So it's gonna take about a month for me to get it.

FYI, you could find an Alpine in dash dvd player for about the same price.

yea for sure if u want to drop a lil more get the alpine pulse-touch MMS (multi. media system) it gives u the feeling of touching buttons on the touch screen, the best of the best.

on ebay, they're selling a bracket that you can use to mount an after market to the ls. I saw it 2 days ago.
