Emblems Fading

My ES300 emblems have started to fade, they came in gold from the dealer, is there a method or touch up kit out there to bring them back to where they shine?

They need to be re-plated. Or you can buy new onces cheap from Ebay.

Yup 93LSOwner is correct- Mine are doing the same thing but my father got rid of the plating machine he had. The killer is the emblems only use like $10.00 worth of gold.

In yahoo, type in "plating" you will get thousands of results with services and check the yellow pages in there also to see who does the job locally.

check the buy and sell sectin i have a set in there

also when you buy new emblems coat them in a few coats of clear to protect the gold as it pits and fades easily unprotected.
