Toucan Ractive Cold Air Intake

Hi,

I'm new to the whole car mod thing and I came across this Toucan Cold Air intake online. I was wondering if this thing is complete crap or if it is worth the investment to be placed in the es300. Here's the link:

It is useless as it is not a cold air intake but a short arm that sits under the hood

i helped develop it for toucan but by itself it loses power and mileage

it is better to use the stock airbox with the ballest in the fender removed

If used with a cold air intake system with filter behind the bumper would it increase performance??

The ballast is the large water siphon remover and muffler chamber made of black plastic

having any filter in the engine bay is bad news

no one belives me but until they start gettign CEL's and i tell them to put back the intake then they realize how much power they lost even though no more powerful sound.
