Moral of the story is that Mercedes Benz ownership is "prestigious" and that I know what they mean by that, and when they say "when you want power, it'll give you power". Ok if you're going to compare the E350 with the GS350, that's kinda sad because then you have no other Lexus vehicle to compare with the other Mercedes vehicles! Take the GX, RX, and ML for example. You'd think the ML is comparable to the RX because of the similar size and car-based. But technically they compare the ML500 with the GX, but then what do you compare the GL450 to, the LX470? Well the GL450 is quite larger than the GX, but then again Mercedes still has the G-class... And you must keep in mind, the E-class has a E500 which I doubt the GS430 could surpass. ;) I agree with SW all the way, you can not bad mouth another company UNTIL you have tried it. Trust me, I didnt want to believe it but I learned from experience now. ;)

I now understand why Mercedes owners are proud to own a Mercedes. We all know the horrible quality of these vehicles, but what a Mercedes can give you, the Lexus can't give you. I just came home from driving my friend's E350 again, and I can't believe how smooth it is! That's only a E350, imagine the $157k S600 I just saw at the Mercedes dealership in town today, you probably just blow air from your mouth onto the gas pedal and that thing could probably run 60mph right away! All kidding aside, Mercedes has earned the "prestige" name that Lexus still hasn't really built yet. Obviously it's this way because they've been in the market for a waaay longer time than Lexus. Plus these MBs really punch it, I mean my friend's E350 may have a broken NAV and radio system (which annoyed me too cuz it turns on and off whenever it felt like it lol) but the performance was outstanding! For Lexus vehicle comparison, I've only driven an RX300, RX330, RX350, ES330, and ES350 and the ES350 was no where close to the performance of the E350! I thought the ES350 was quick and agile, but the E350 will get you going w/o you even noticing that you're running 10mph over the limit already! So we can't really bad mouth these German vehicles. My friend admits that Lexus is definitely #1 in quality but BMW and Mercedes has something to boast that Lexus can't boast, and I can back that up!

You definitely need to have that replaced, I have seen the SAME thing in my friend's mom's 06 E350, it's horrible! Such a nice vehicle, but they're on their SECOND BROKEN Nav system! But as India said yes they are interconnected. Sorry to hear about a problem on a new vehicle.

Well first of all, that center console seems like a great idea if you really need more cubby space to put small items. Now as for a trash bag, I highly suggest NOT HAVING one in the vehicle. I just think it's too "trashy" and that it will stink and everything if left for a certain period of time. My 4Runner actually has this little plastic frame behind my center console, wrapped around my rear vents, and we can buy an accessory trash bag that fits PERFECTLY on the frame, but I don't think any 4Runner owner has ever used it for what it's made for (except one guy who actually bought the trash bag) because the trash belongs to a trash bin, not inside the vehicle! ;) My. $0.02

Or the worst case scenerio, turn the rear plates in, and say you "lost" the front ones cuz you never put those on and you misplaced them. That's what I'm planning on doing with my cars now... The only plates that I've kept was from our RX300, but then again it's bent into the shape of the bumper cuz it was in an accident and my insurance wanted me to replace them but I decided to keep the old ones.

I don't know if you are required to return the plates. My friend just got one of those scrambled "personalized" plates, the ones on those "california" designed plates that has 3 numbers and 3 letters, and he didnt return his original 7 digit scrambled plates!

Nope. 4Runner is due for redesign at the same time as the GX, which is approximately around 2009. ;)

It is normal. Actually after you exit the vehicle and arm the car, the key will glow steadily for about 30 seconds, symbolizing that the system is giving you 30 seconds before it fully arms. ;) But it's perfectly normal and enjoy the vehicle!

Thanks Steve! Well let's say even with all that drama I had during this last semester, I actually enjoyed it! lol. But yea I guess we look older than a typical 18 yr old years ago! lol. But in this picture.... My friend on the right side of me, may be a few months older than me, but up to now, he's a unique "kid" of his own! Yes he may be matured already, but the way he looks, and talks makes everyone think that he's just a kid! lol. My friend will totally be remembered for being a "kid" throughout this whole time in high school! lol.

Well one day, I'll look back to these photos of me and Alex, and I will laugh at myself how foolish I was during my last semester of highschool about how I feel about her, when someday, I'll be walking down that aisle, and Alex is among the guests, how I started all this, and ended with a happy ending (hopefully). ;):cheers: I'll be like "Oh yea, about .... years ago, last semester of senior year in high school, I really liked you, but you liked that one guy instead and I didn't want to tell you how I felt about you, but now I'm gonna tell you!
