  1. Problem solved. I did some research online and found out that the part number is 90467-07117. I picked some up from a local lexus dealer (Bob Baker Lexus)..very reasonable price of 85cents each.
  2. Yes! These clips don't look very durable, so I was trying to buy a few to keep around (from an alternative source other then the dealer, $3 for a 25 cent plastic clips seems like a rip-off ). BTW, do you have the toyota/lexus part number for these clips? My local NAPA autoparts have similar looking retainers (8 for $5) but they are slightly longer and they would not fit.
  3. I am looking for "push pin-style" retainer clips for engine room covers (the black plastic trim pieces that cover battery&brake fluid reservoir on the driver side and intake&windshield wiper reservoir on the passenger side) for a 07GX. One of them broke off into pieces last night when I was taking the plastic trim off. I checked rockauto and irontoad, both sites do not have this small trim piece listed. :cries: If anyone knows of an online source for these clips, please let me know. Thanks
  4. Thanks for the feed back. We got the GX back last week (after spending 3 weeks at the dealer getting the Navigation repaired..so far everything works fine). BTW, my local dealer sucked and didn't inform me of the repair update. I had to call a couple times a week to find out what was going on. Stay away from Kearny Mesa Lexus in San Diego. Thumbs way way down.
  5. The 05 doesn't require premium either. The manual states, minimum octane 87, for better performance, use 91. I dont understand, the 05 and the 06 have the same engine, the 06 requires premium and the 05 does not. The 06 4runner V8 has the same engine, but it does not require premium either. I just try out the 1st tank of 87 yesterday, so far so good, didnt notice much difference. We got an 07GX a few weeks ago. The first couple of fill ups were with 91 octane California gas. Since the car is basically a people mover, performance is not as high a concern. I'm planning on switching to 87octane full time. Any problems at all with 87octane?
  6. just got our second lexus over the weekend. 2007 GX470 with NAV and DVD entertainment system. About 40miles on the odometer, the NAV system goes out ...."external connections lost" flashes on the screen and the rear DVD entertainment system dies out too. Anyone know if the 2 systems are linked to each other?
