I have this Baccleaurate (idk how they spell it) mass today, and graduation tomorrow, so i had the baccleaurate practice right now, and after that, since the church is pretty close to my area (the "cool" area lol) I decided if Alex wanted to have a drink or something (because she doesn't live near my area). So i texted her, and she replies (after I asked "r u busy after ur detention" cuz she came to practice late) and she answers (ok i DID NOT see this one coming, but I know about it, but I was thinking it'd be too soon) "Ya I an (still mispelled till now!) going to see my boyfriend sorry" Well it was nice knowing her..... so later! B) B) B) "I want to drive the GX" psssht. Forget it! Maybe Tim knows how to hot-wire a Lexus, so she can wait for him to go steal one, then she can drive a Lex!!! hahaha. :D :D :D :D

Well lenore, I am truly looking forward (well not right now, I want my vacation first! lol) to college in late august, to take everyone's advice! Ok it's the end of the school year, but I love how my classmates are barely starting to notice that this 4Runner is clean! haha. The other day, I went out to lunch with like 3 other people (2 girls, and 1 guy, yes one of the girls was Alex!) and when the guy got out of my car, he was like "Dang, is this car new? It's soo clean." and I asked him to guess how old it was, and he thought it was like a couple weeks old! haha. Kudos for the 4Runner! :cheers:

That depends on the area. Some 4Runner owners added DRLs to save on insurance, but i asked my insurance, and they don't take it to consideration... <_< <_<

I agree with SK. I think, personally, my DRLs have helped save me an accident before, especially those careless people. Even though I try to be as defensive as possible, DRLs and headlights HELP me a lot to notice other cars around me, especially if their in my blindspot.

It's really hard to compare the two. First of all, the Rx is car based, while the GX is truck based. Ride and feel will be TOTALLY different. HP, Torque, yes they seem weird, but the GX has the power to tow more, than the RX, even with the HP discrepancy. If you are looking at the technical aspects of leg and shoulder room, idk. It's all up to you as to what you feel comfortable, but it is two different animals. Besides, personally I think the RX has a really BAD blindspot, because of the design. But what do you want out of this comparison, planning on buying a new car, just deciding between the RX and GX?!?!?

Well all I do have to say also, this is my first time being the "brother" of a girl! I've had these "brotherly" friendships before, but they were usually "guys" so it didn't seem awkward like this. Well jst a simple update. No things are fine I didnt talk to her about my thoughts but what really shocked me last week was that the guy she likes is Filipino! grrr... What's funny also is that she likes him so much that she'd rather spend time with him and pass off my offer to her to not only let her see my house(which she's always wanted to) but my offer of letting her drive MY GX! geez! And she was even begging me the other day that I let her drive it. Well too bad she rejected my "1 time only" offer

We had this discussion in the 4Runner forums.... Some people say (which I don't see the logic in them) that it causes 2 problems: 1. Worse gas mileage (I dont know how the hell lights affect the gas mileage) and 2. Some say it confuses people who see only one DRL on (when one's being used as a turn signal for the orange DRLs) when they look at your vehicle for a split second, and get a different message. Although some cars like the RX don't have to worry about the 2nd reason, but i dont see how the first reason makes any sense?!?!? Some LTD 4Runner owners want to REMOVE their DRLs (idiots) while me on the other hand, worked hard to get them installed. :cheers:

Flukechance, I have no idea when the latest TSB was released, but I would take a wild guess that if you had your GX serviced for the clunk, somewhere between Apr 06-now, I think you should have the latest TSB.

Oh ok I guess not Anyways pray that my gradnite wont be chaos! I just found out Alex is on the same bus (with me) as her ex! We're both *BLEEP*ed! At first when me and my friends were signing up for a bus her ex crossed out his name. Then moments later the guy and his new gf(who's been annoying me pretending to like me and be my gf) signed onto our bus! Ayy! Looks like we need a "moderator" to keep things calm on this 5 hr bus trip! lol.

obviously, i don't have a looong history, but i remember my family had a (we barely moved to the US just in 1992) 1996 Nissan Quest XE, bad, very bad. Sold it after a year for the Odyssey. ;) ;)
