If you press the "DEST" button on the console, a screen will pop up with a little home icon at the bottom left. If you press it, does it work? Does it take you to your home? If so then you've definitely registered it as your "home". If not, you'll need to play around with it more.

There's no such thing available made especially for the wheels, but you can try some random silver touch up's from places like Autozone.

YES :whistles: I wouldn't mind more power from the 400h.

2007 was the first year for the GS450h (the sports sedan hybrid), but it didn't have blue badges. In 2008 the GS450h got a few upgrades, one of them being the blue badges front, back and side <_< 09 is the same, and 2010 with even more upgrades. Any 08-010 GS450 will have the side moldings with the blue accent. I would just go to the dealer to get measurements but mine doesn't have any! I did a search on autotrader and neither does anyone else within 45 minutes of me apparently it's a RARE car...

I wonder if that can be tweaked? :D

exactly ;) The 08 Rx400h rear "L" emblem is accented with blue and so is the "400h" badge. I bought the same rear "L" badge and modified it to the front grille, and i plan on modifying the Rx400h side moldings with the "HYBRID" badge from the side moldings of the 08+ GS450h (which is accented in blue, pictured above). I just need the dimensions of the GS450h side molding badge so i can plan ahead. I'm either using one from the 08+ GS450h or HS250h hybrids. At present the 08 Rx400h side moldings only have the word "HYBRID" in chrome with no blue background. I can't have that <_<

It appears that it's a FWD. I have the AWD RX400h and there is an additional motor displayed in the diagram.

Try doing a test. Get a garbage can or something made from a similar material and put it on the roof over the antenna. Then see if the nav signal is still OK. My educated guess is that it won't be a problem... it all depends on what the material is and how close to the antenna it is.

I wish they designed the Rx400h with an ECO/NORM/SPORT button like they've got on the newer hybrids. With the gas engine and two electric motors all working together the Rx400h could haul some serious BUTT. There are a lot of times in parking lots etc where I'd like the car to run electric only, and there are other times when I want some serious POWER. If the engineers focused more on power than mpg they could make a REALLY powerful hybrid. The GS450h is a good example of this, but I know they can do even better...

How could the 400h be rated at 268hp? The 350 puts out 270, and it's SLOWER than the 400h

Not one word of that makes sense to me... If the gas engine produces 211hp, the first electric motor 167hp and second electric motor 88 hp... 211+167+68=446hp.

At the bottom of the right & left rear passenger doors, you will find the "HYBRID" badge in chrome letters on a blue rectangular background. I need the measurements of this blue rectangle, just length and width. <_< I have a few ideas on a new project... :whistles: Here's a picture of the badge in question. The red brackets represent the lengths i need. If anyone can help me with the measurements it would be GREATLY appreciated! Either cm or inches, whichever is fine. Thanks guys!

In the LS460 both the low beams AND high beams are projectors, just separate. If you're noticing a gap between the low beam and high beam, you can either lower the high beam projectors, or raise the low beam projectors. Both should have adjustment bolts on the back of the headlights. The LS460 high beam projectors have a reverse cutoff shield, so they only provide light ABOVE a horizontal line. The low beam projectors only provide light BELOW a horizontal line. So it's 100% possible for there to be a large gap between the low and high if they're not aligned perfectly.

Would these be installed year-round? Or will you have a separate winter and summer set? I'm only asking because any aftermarket rim, painted or chrome, probably wont last a few winters with the salt, sand and snow... I have a chrome set of wheels for summer months and i install the factory silver set for winter months. I bought a set of OEM Rx400h wheels that had been triple chromed, WITH new tires, for $1300 shipped on eBay last summer. I would definitely take a look on ebay... They have some amazing deals.

Hm, i just went and checked on my Rx (different disc version but still works the same way) and what you described works. I just press the "Change" icon and select a region, each assigned a number. Has it always been this way? Did you have the car since new? I would try disconnecting the car's battery for a half hour and re-connecting as this may re-set things. If that doesn't work, then i would definitely ask the dealer if they've heard of this happening before.

So the seat mysteriously moved vertically/horizontally AND the upper half tilted? If this only happened either laterally or by rotation alone, i'd say maybe a faulty switch, but for both movements to be moving mysteriously... it's just not probable that two separate switches are failing at the same time. So the issue must be with the computer... I hope it's just a random thing!

I've been in both the Acura RDX and MDX suv's, and personally i don't think fit/finish and quality of materials compares to those in the Lexus. I'm still not a fan of the 010 Rx styling, but i'd still take it over the Acura.

Looks like some type of sealer or wax. You clean the car, clay to remove contaminates on the surface, compound/polish scratches, clean again, glaze, and wax...
