i and many others im sure disconnect the battery all the time wen working on the car, i had my battery die on me a few times before i got my new one, i have a sc300 manual and no problems like hers. although i used to work at this shop and we had a couple people come in with a problem like that, on aftermarket alarms (not the ignition though) and we just messed with it and got it to reset. but i am sure that if you get stuck like her all you have to do is take it to a dealer and they will tell u whats wrong, she must have not cared for the car or been wanting to sell it to dodge that easy of a thing to do

im talking about actually having the metal of the fenders flared out, not a kit or anything, i just dont want my wheels to be hidden deep inside there, i want them to come out

i want to flare my fenders out on my car about an inch and a half, what stats do my rims have to have? i would like the rears a a tad wider, is the offset the only thing i have to worry about, and if so whats the stock offset for our car? thanks

im in the army and im going to baghdad in jan, id love to go to some any meets in socal b4 i go, had my sc for only a year, i got 2 weeks off starting june 24th, i definitely want to go to this drift show in la on the 27th. i was thinking a meet that day and then a drive to the show would be tight, of just everyone go to the show. anyone input? http://www.drifting.com/events.php , i know it doesnt say much about it, but those of you whove been to a drift show probably know you dont need to know much about it, its a blast!!

i keep seeing the cf hood from importfan.com on ebay for 4 something, but i know i read in one of the post here (research it) that it was crap, many defects, had to be slightly moded due to diff size bolts on jdm hood mount, and wiper holes lil diff, but most of all, he said it cracked when passing a truck on the freeway *ouch*

i forget if its 97 or 98 but i think its 98 when vvti was introduced and im pretty sure without a grip of wiring skillz you cant just swap the cluster

i went that fast because i had to be somewhere at a certain time or id be really f**'d, i was just saying that i was a lil worried of overheating for driving over 5000 rpm for over an hour straight, but our cars are too strong to be faded by that i found out

going over 100 here in cali can be charged with attempted manslaughter or something, possibility but unlikely you will unless you *BLEEP* the cop off prob. ive gone over 140, but didnt get the top speed, not 150 though, but im sure it was around 145 (got 5speed 300) drove an average of 125, 130ish for and hour and 15 min (i really had too) had heater blasting whole time to try n keep stock engine cool, the cars so strong, i was a little worried pushing it so hard for so long, but no prob.

i have thrashed the machined lip on my rims, how do i get them fixed, any recommendations for south kali? thanks

i am stationed in the middle of the mojave desert, not much you can do, always keep it covered, tint protects interior, good wax protecting job, aromoral on your stuff can evaporate into the windows, i suggest using very light coat if u do. dont drive close to people, rocks fly like krazy

my sc is in the shop, but id still show up, it might be done if the meet isnt for awhile, im in the army so my next available dates would be june28-july 11, in there im down

all new headlights are clear lenses, if you mean clear as in no yellow peice you can just remove that, but theres a set on ebay right now at 150.00, just look around, dealer will cost a grip.

i have the ones on the stock sc300 92, chrome, i dont remeber exactly what they look like, had em for a couple months and took em off, cant look at them for another month to confirm, if you post a pic i can verify and have a friend send it,

at the toyota dealer here jic actually sells there kit for the car, that was my number one choice, delaing with a big dealer straight from the company and i think it looks really nice. but 500 as opposed to 1400, i would much rather have real something, but i got 17months left in the damn army b4 i can go try to make the $$, or jus wait til i do my tour in baghdad, but thats for the swap. well ive talked to a bunch of people about the kit and they said good things about it, the standard 7layer gel coated. ill have decided real soon, thanks for the input

ok im going fiberglass, the jic magic kit or the vertex rip off, like 3 gs for actual vertex kit

is there any polyurethane or non fiber glass kits for the sc!? i know the elete kit from gtp is cf front bumper but i heard its crap and dont like the style. i love the bn sports, jic magic, and vertex. but cant find them not in fiberglass. i need to get a bumper withing the next few days, anybody have any help. i feel like giving up and getting fiberglass. does anybody have a fiber glass kit that has stayed in good condition for more than a year or two? any distributers in south cali? thanks
