  2. Yea I know smooth especially when the car can get up to 160F inside. What I had before was 3M light tint with metallic, worked great keeping the heat out. But, I'm going to pass this time around.
  3. Look around the detailing forum you will find alot of answers.

  5. I've allways tinted my previous cars but have had very bad luck with it. Since I keep my cars for a long time, eight years avarage, after the fifth year it starts going down hill. Then to change the tint the rear window defrost and now with the IS the antenae would go to pots. I've allways used a good window tint and a repiutable installer. So this time around I'm going to stay away from it. I would love to put a nice dark tint with a little bit of silver(to reflect the heat) but not this time.
  6. Here's one for you: Rick was in deep trouble because he forgot thier anniversary. His wife told him that if in the morning there wasn't something in the driveway that did 0 to 200 in 3 seconds that she'd leave him. The next morning he tells her to look in the driveway. She goes outside and there on the driveway is a small wraped box. She grabs it and opens the box. Inside she finds a weight scale. Ba Boom....

  9. Wow man I'm sorry to hear all these things are happening. Thats a tough one and no guarantee that the new ECU won't melt down again because of some other problem that has'nt been seen. I'd be very careful!
  10. I'd start by changing the battery. A 6 year old battery is pushing the life it, not using the car much is bad for the battery, like it was stated previously. Car batterys have an average life of about 5 normal years of use, +/- a year or two depending on use and state of the cars charging sysem. Take the battery to a autozone, napa etc. and have them check to see what shape it's in.
  11. Nope, not for many many years... I'm 29 Catamaran--------->Multihull :D Hydrofoil
