  1. I know of more than 1,999 that are turbo, so thousands :) ;) In the state of california alone there are over 500. Lot's of these guy's don't have internet acess, but they can still be found everytime they get a speeding ticket :D I've seen the database figures from when my uncle was nice enough to show me (i asked ofcourse) after he went into law enforcement. Lol.
  2. There's nothing original about rolling up in a turbo Sc. There are THOUSANDS and most make over 600 hp. Visit another popular, large lexus online community to find some of them :) They are there ;) You will find lot's more info also.
  3. The transmission slips and triggers this code. You better hope your TC is in good shape.
  4. from the picture? Oh boy. You better start reviewing the specs and post them for someone to give you some real advice. "from a picture" i look like a white Tiger Woods.
  5. intellexual.net (probably not spelled correctly.)
  6. There are a lot of "gold one's" polished, chrome, 10 spoke, 6 spoke, etc..... without a pic, you probably won't get the one you need.
  7. Yes i do, if Matt will ever reply back to me with a vendor package. HELLLLOOOOOOOO :)
  8. You own a toyota. Any bit of denial in this fact by trying to cover it up with a gold nameplate that sounds cooler than "toyota" stems from trying to cover other short comings in your life. Don't be insecure. I own, drive, and love my little toyota SC400 and Im damn proud to own the worlds most dependable cars on the planet. Every single inch of that car ..... every part,...... is stamped toyota on everything. Owning a toyota with a badge on it that says "LEXUS" doesn't make your pants grow bigger if that's what you're waiting on. Though, i'm full of hope..... everyone could use an extra toilet snake. Side note: FYI- The "toyota" Soarer is nicer than your "Lexus" SC :) Navi and digital air ride suspension is a good thing. ;)... and $25,000 more expensive too. This is an unfortunate fact for "Lexus" owners, their car is inferior to the Sister Toyota Soarer.
  9. hey DC email me :) sales@lextech.org PS- Nice quote, i seemed to have remembered writing that somewhere :P lol. :)
  10. It is your ground on your block or body. Not only do you need to inspect the terminals, but also the wire going TO the terminals, as it can corode inside the terminal on the wire itself. The ground goes to the frame and block, both need to be checked. Eitherway it IS a ground problem. Good Luck!
  11. FYI, the issue of the dead speedometer is more common than most people think. It is caused by the microchip going bad in the speedo. Replacement of that chip is not possible due to availibility. They stopped making the chip years back. There COULD be other causes, but i have seen over 20 dead speedo clusters due to a failing chip and once the cluster was replaced everything was fine. This issue does not affect the lighting of the needle, only it operable status on movement. The speed sensor travels into the cluster and through a network of electronics to the chip. The chip sends the microsignal to the needle motor.
  12. the 194 bulb is TWICE as wide at the base as the #24 and will NOT fit. the #24 is the PERFECT fit and is the only aftermarket bulb that will run the correct voltage, is the correct size, and locks into the base. The 194 is nowhere near correct in any way. Bad information. FYI just to help.
  13. yes. this guy has: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showuser=1634
  14. "i still haven't recieved my item, so they are horrible.......... EVEN THOUGH IT IS THE WEEKEND AND NO SHIPPERS HAVE RAN SINCE THE LAST TIME I COMPLAINED".
  15. Thursday- Money order arrives and is processed thursday night. friday, saturday, sunday- Tail of the dragon meet co sponsored by LLS, which LLS attended. Monday- Item is sent Tuesday- customer complains, did not pay for over night shipping, then edits emails from LLS to make it look like LLS was being rude as he is on a trashing spree and being unreasonable. Now, between Monday and Tuesday, where did parcel post have time to deliver? LLS has done hundreds and hundreds of units, not one single complaint. do a search. You get "one of these guys" every now and then.
  16. Sorry, They do not. Which is why you were told that LLS couldn't do your ES unit and you instead begged for the bulbs to be sent to you. Not only did you NOT send your unit to LLS, you have recieved no service whatsoever from them, so you have nothing to talk about here. "LLS is crap" well, how would you know? YOU NEVER HAD THEM WORK ON YOUR UNIT! You just ordered some bulbs to try and do it yourself because they said they could not help you to begin with and you got impatient waiting for the mail to deliver them. What a scam. Do not dennounce a company you have NEVER HAD SERVICE FROM.
  17. Anyone else find it ironic that LLS doesn't even DO climate units for the ES models?
  18. Considering the 10k pure red LED's are $7.50 each at street cost, and there are upwards of 150+ on the Lextech boards, you do the math. That isn't including resistors either, nor the cost of the boards... then factor in time. They need to be $300 instead but..... oh well.
  19. Ghetto. If you are going to do it, at least perfect it PLS, it's the least you can do. I wouldn't stick that in a honda, much less a Lexus. Now this i would stick in a Lexus: http://lextech.org/
  20. In theory, yes. In reality you are only delaying the inevitable by a minimal margin. There is a certain amount of natural drying going on that is unavoidable. glass is a great insulator, but not without some leakage through the very glass itself. your efforts probably wouldn't be well rewarded.
  21. I see, i was speaking of the OP's question. while responding to you at the same time. The LCD (liquid crystal display) is filled with liquid crystal (surprise). When the seal starts to leak air around the edge of the climate's LCD, the screen takes on air. The air dries out the liquid crystals and they turn black. Heat and cold make a dramatic impact on the units. someone in a warm climate may not see this problem for up to a year after it initially begins, whereas someone in a cold climate will see it almost immediately. I have experimented with trying to saturate the lcd with various materials, but have yet to find something that will work. This is going to be one of those things that get's replaced if it goes bad, like a pair of brakes.
  22. they do repair these, and everything else involving an SC. http://www.lextech.org/
