Drove out today and back, had the A/C on for about 5 hours today and NO more wetness/moisture :) - So far it seems to working, let's hope it lasts... thats the most important ? or the million dollar ? congrats! but still not recommended brian -
ty......30% is lighter than mine. im a little lost.........tint is gauged something like this........the lower the percentage the less light it lets in or essentially the lower the percentage the darker the tint! 5 is ALMOST the darkest u can get! i think 3 % is darkest! i dunno if they make anything darker! that make sense to u..........? i feel lost! lol so r u in dubai india or dubia like part of the united arab emirates? brian

Puddle Of Wetness Under Driver's Carpet
sakataj replied to bplaney's topic in 93 - 05 Lexus GS300 / GS400 / GS430
omg please dont put epoxy on this......hiho :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: u gotta stop encouraging people to do this! its not a fix! ITS A BANDAID! :D brian -
first off as i told you before in YOUR post its not your best friend and i shrug to think of the barnyard fix your doing! ALSO no lexus tech would tell you that! they want you to bring it in so you have to replace it! i also recommend a new shop but SINCE i work in the HVAC-R business (my career is a HVAC-R supply house manager) i will tell you its not uncommon to find multiple leaks in more than one place on one system! here try this.........i put some in my old es300 lexus awhile ago. i was adding about a pound every summer and it got old so like 4 years ago we started carrying this and i tried it! i sold car to my dad last year and he STILL has no problems with the freon. http://www.sjdiscounttools.com/clp946kit.html oj thats a great price we sell it to a cash customer (prices change if u dont have accounts with supply houses) for 50.00 plus tax brian

Apexi Neo For Lean The A/f Ratio In Gs
sakataj replied to Gena's topic in 93 - 05 Lexus GS300 / GS400 / GS430
I think you'd be diggin yourself into a deeper hole with Apex'i's AF controller ...I hardly trust the company's R&D dept. to make something suitible for a GS400...they specialize in Honda's don't they? I believe their controller is not suited well for vvt-i either....only vtech. where do u get this info fodogsfo :chairshot: :chairshot: ? apexi is a immaculate company! VERY high standards........buddy of mine has their controller in his supra and works FLAWLESSLY on the vvt-i! i used to have their ball bearing turbo kit for my sohc d16z6 it was impeccable! they don't make parts for just Honda's they do all car's and are a well respected shop in Japan as well as America! brian -
someone will need this one day and then they will owe u a or two brian

patrice.........u not listening to what he's saying though! he has mods done for speed/performance.....im sure with your 20's you just cruising correct? the car will drive fine with 19's, 20's, and 22's except the worse gas mileage :) as far as how it performs with them i wouldnt expect it to perform any less but to honestly answer your ? luvin i really dont know (lol) im not doing any real performance mods maybe eventually down the line a supercharger but im not gonna run any bigger than 19's brian

Gallons Left When Gas Light Comes On
sakataj replied to Tousij2's topic in 93 - 05 Lexus GS300 / GS400 / GS430
ok oldskewel this is for you B) so gas light comes on at 45 miles left (according to gps) i had a 2 gallon container filled with gas in my gf's car (im not putting that in my interior to smell up my car) anyways i was to drive till i ran out and then call her! well i started about 8:35 knowing the gas station i fill up at closed around 10. i rolled all the windows down and turned on the ac TRYING to waste gas for once! i stomped the peddle, i feathered it back and forth (i kinda wanted to see if the gps said i was negative ) anyways so it stopped at 0 miles where as about 9:45 i had gone an extra 29 miles PAST where it said i had 0 miles. i drove to the gas station being as they were about to close....i ended up putting the 2 gallons she brought me in and it brought my gps back from -27 i drove to +3 miles........ so even after it hits zero i apparently still have almost 3 gallons in..........i say this cause i put her 2 gallons in and filed up with 16.7 more gallons giving me a total of 18.8 gallons so i even had 1.1 gallons left in the tank! it amazing so i have ALMOST a 100 miles AFTER my light comes on! when i have more time i will actually find out how much i have and i will drive her till she dies! but for the most part now i do know we have at least a 18.8 gallon tanks so im thinking we do have the 19.1 also! will find out next fill up! brian -
Crack In The Evaporator Core Case
sakataj replied to GS300Fan's topic in 93 - 05 Lexus GS300 / GS400 / GS430
well u talk about not wanting to put money into the car but what if the sealant comes of again? just seems like a cheap cruddy way to fix it! your essentially not fixing it just kinda sweeping it under the floor! what kinda sealant did you put on this? i wish you woulda said you just had a pinhole leak..........i coulda sent you some of this automotive super seal we sell at work! http://www.cliplight.com/automotive/produc...mp;productID=16 put this in my old es which i sold to my father and it has had no leaks since. i used to put almost a pound of freon in it EVERY year! it got old then like 4 years ago we started carrying this. mainly sell it for home systems but we carry it for commercial, heat pumps, and automobile also! well anyways good luck and let me know how it turns out! oh and i misunderstood you bout the dash thought u were saying brian -
if u ACTUALLY read those........BOTH those are great write ups and show the creativity and drive alot of Lexus owners have! great info! brian
