    it looks very Saab-y :( I was pretty PO'd because I had to change in October, so couldn;t wait for the new shape GS 430. Having seen these shots though - I am not so unhappy BUT need to see it in the flesh - I have a proven history of dis-liking new cars in photos, and loving them in the flesh (the limited edition yellow IS being a case in point)

    Personally, I'm all for it. I think it's good to have an option like this. It seperates the Troller from the Enthusiast, or even the Die Hard. There's nothing wrong with having to pay for a membership to a club, especially something that holds a certain level of prestige as a Lexus does. ← thanks for the support man

    I did Josh - thanks. Skinning the forum is on my list of things to consider - right now I like the standard skin, as it allows all the standard and extra functionality we have added to work fine

    you should be able to play. Non gold members can play once a day, provided they make at least one post

    the subscription is for one whole year from the date you join. So if you go and signup now your membership will last until 21 October 2005. nice try!

    hmmmm I could do a $5 a month type deal, but you wouldn't get the membership pack (as we would be loosing money on the pack for one months sub of $5). :(

    First car? As in the first car you have owned? I would say no. a reasonably powerful, rear wheel drive car is not what I would recommend.

    to create your own album, click on My Controls, and look in the top right hand corner. As a gold member, you can have 10 megabytes of images, in unlimited albums. Non gold members may only have one album, and only 1 meg of storage. ;)

    Sorry Blake - this is sort of 'in flux' at the moment. The old gallery will be still be available, and all the old images will be safe. However, it will be made read only. Any new images should be added to the new gallery. Each member has their own gallery, and can upload as many pictures as they like, and link them to the forums etc. This will all be explained fully by the end of the week, when I have finished the work on the old gallery. Does that help mate?

    its only $4 a month - do you not think that in the three months you have been a member you have not got $4 a month worth of value from the club?

    its not just the 'trinkets'. Its only by subscriptions such as this that we will be able to keep the club going, and keep helping people with their vehicle problems. :(

    thats $4 a month. surely we give everyone $4 worth of value a month? All the subs go to keeping the club running - server costs alone on a site this busy are horrific

    everyone is equal around here Adam. Its just that we don;t allow new members to post or pm people. This is because we have people sign up, and then start to spam members by pm or email Once you have made a few more posts (or even better - support the club by becomeing a gold member), then you will be able to email. good luck man!
