  1. I see Lexus flags on Ebay all the time! They are pretty big!
  2. You tried the hub centrics also?
  3. I would agree, if nothing has been changed yet! New plugs would help!
  4. You asked so i am going to tell you, I don't like them! But to each his own. Post some pics once you get them installed , hopefully they look great on the car. I think the whole bolts on the wheel look is tacky.
  5. Probably not! But you need to tell us more info! What year , how many miles, Is it only when cold?
  6. just replace the one by the cats. They are to damn expensive to replace both. Especially if one only has 3 thousand miles. It's an easy job. Soak it in penetrsting oil and use an o2 sensoe socket. Unscrew it and replace with a new one, coat the threads with antisieze compund. Get one with the factory plug already on, so you don't have to splice wires. It will be about 120 dollars.
  7. Brembo! Do a search as this has been covered recently!
  8. check driveshaft and rear diff monts, maybe rear axles as well!
  9. Or you could just buy new rotors that are cad plated and drilled/slotted , as it's probably about time to replace the pads and rotors on your car. Usually you can get all 4 rotors for about $200
  10. Yes! Recalls are for the life of the vehicle, hence the name recall
  11. There is a chip built into the key for theft reasons, so no I don't believe you can just cut a new key.
  12. 194 probably need at least 6 if your replacing all of the main ones :D
  13. start unpluging things and until the fuse doesn't blow anymore. I would start at the radio and unplug it's harness and see if the fuse blows. If so move onto the shifter!
  14. Yes there is an adapter and it looks like you will be making it! The best thing I can tell you is to get a shop manual or find a friend with a gs and use a multimeter to meter the wires out.
  15. Do a search on google you will find a few places! I replaced mine, it was easy and only about $50 for the piece!
  16. Unplug the electrical connector and rotate while lightly pulling!
  17. Probably a self serve one! You're on your own there! They had to be loose for them to peel back , so it's not the car washes fault.
  18. Just get some strong adhesive and carefully and neatly glue them back on! :o
  19. How are they balancing them, and who is doing the work? Maybe take it to another shop to get a second check! :D
  20. After being balanced twice and the hubcentrics my ride is perfect! I would say for GCO to take his rims to another shop and have them doublechecked.
  21. Brembo rotors with cad plating and metal master pads!
  22. The hot topic always seems to be transmission complaints for the GS300. I found some info as well as a possible solution to transmission problems with the GS300. Enjoy! The fist info applies to the 93-99 GS300 A340E / A341E / A343E / A350E The transmissions above are rear wheel drive 4 & 5 speed automatic transmissions. The A350E is the 5 speed. They are computer and throttle pressure controlled. Common symptoms are transmission shifting erratic, slipping or not shifting at all. Also the check engine light can come on. External sensors like the throttle position sensor, vehicle speed sensor or output speed sensor quite often go bad, causing these symptoms. Always run a scanner first to see if a sensor is causing your problem. Also check the throttle pressure cable that goes from your transmission to your carburetor or throttle body depending on the configuration of your engine. On most of these models, they have a diagnostic box you can retrieve codes with. The location of this box should be in your owners manual. If all checks out well then this may be your final solution! transmission chip! :D
  23. Well, I found this and think I might give it a try. If it's available for the 1st gen. CHECK IT OUT! :D
