  1. For now on when i think that i should move it i am moving it. The thing that is crazy is that i parked where i had to walk and there was a pile of other parking places that was closer to the store. If she was in such a hurry or what ever her problem was she could have pulled closer to the store. ← I hate people like that. I get that sometimes to and when i regret moving the same thing happens. So now i move it when i get that sinking gut feeling, but it makes it worse too. they think you're paranoid about your car and key or dent your car anyway.i hate people like that.you can't win- there is nothing we can do to stop it.so sad

  6. sounds like you didn't buff off the residue after it has dried.maybe you applied too much. either way- i would rub off and buff out gently. or- take a pic and let us see
  7. I just purchased a pair and used the adapters that it came with but they do not clip in, they're just loose-they won't fly off because of the angle, but they're loose. anyone seen this before? i tried the other clips with no luck either.weird. one was 22" and the other was 18"
  8. sux you have to go through this but this is my 2 cents worth... call Lexus customer service...i did, and they made my dealer (who thought i was crazy for having condensation in my headlamp) replace the $500+ labor part the next day! Lexus wants to win the HD Power award again for the what is it- 16 th straight year? they will do whatever it takes to make you happy, even a CPO. Mine is a cpo. Document everything, like a diary, and offer to email/fax/mail it to the customer service rep. Be respectful and mindful that the rep you are speaking to did not belittle you, he is the one who will help you.remember, you called him for help. Don't give up...if you believe you are wronged let them know. I stopped dealing with the disrespectful service reps at Lexus of Westport in Fairfield, Conn because they gave me the same feeling you described above. We paid a lot of money for our cars, new or not, and it's our right to be treated with the utmost respect. I look extremely young for 34 and when I used to go in there in shorts and a ball cap- the service reps did not even acknowledge me. They lost my business right then and there and i tell everyone i know not to go back there. they also lost a sale as I will upgrade and get a 430, but from another dealer. Bottom line is this...Lexus needs to know how poorly some of us have been treated. I believe they do take it seriously, as evident by the call i received from the dealer 24 hrs after i called customer service- the dealer said "can you bring in the car today?". it's too bad we have to resort to calling customer service, but i'm afraid how other manufacturer's handle their clients.

  12. I'M HAPPY TO SAY... I GOT A CHECK LAST THURSDAY! Case closed. the only thing they didn't pay was for the rental- $117.00. thanks everyone!

  14. if you go to the aftermarket manufacturer's web site- they sometimes have pictures or a .pdf of shifter removal. if not, a google search may be what you need.
  15. luckily, my friend is a real LAWYER. Called the manager today- gave me the run around and that he would call the district manager for me. I told him I want to her from that guy directly- especially since he failed to return 2 of my voicemails. I also stated, there can't possibly be so many claims,he can't take two minutes to return my calls. Also, the next step will be to talk to my lawyer. this sux update!!!!!! just called their corporate office and I believe i spoke to one of the owners! I explained the situation and he said turn around is usually a week or so. needless to say, he was surprised he had not heard of my problem yet. he said "i will have to lay into them for that". I told them him they were professional, but I just didn't understand the delay or time frame for resolving this type of issue.I also let him know i was a regular customer prior to this. Being calm and collective sure helps sometimes. he is now my direct contact, and requested I fax him all my paper work. Thank god for this thread, as I will use it to help my case here.
  16. Since that's a specialized part, you'll have to get this clip at a Lexus dealer's parts department. If they don't have it in stock, they can order it for you. It might take a couple of days. ← it can be a one person job till you find one- pop the trunk and pull the emergency release cord located in the left hand side of the trunk.

  18. they can hope, but i'm not going anywhere- i'm proving it by calling them every day this week and stopping by. I'll expect the check next week or else I'll call my lawyer and see what other options I have besides small claims court.

  21. OK, after not having my messages returned by the District manager, I called the manager again. (second day in a row) Today he said that the DM will present the case/issue to headquarters and upon approval they will cut me a check. I'll believe it when I cash it.

  23. yes. and it will take 3 days. they suggest that when i hand the car wash place the estimate to also tell them they need to pay for my rental. which they created some sort of estimate for that also- $135 and change. ← ok, i handed the estimate last night and will get back to me after submitting it to the distract manager. They said if he approves, they will cut me a check. fingers are now officially crossed!
