have them run a compression test on ALL 8 cylinders.... your timing belt might have slipped

Bob, I dont know if it for any particular auto, it is just showing all the AC components in the dash (modern times)

in the 50's & 60's I taught AC, as it got popular in cars

YES..... 98-2000 low mileage cars do exist, but PROBABLY not with in 200 miles from NY...

my 99 rolled over 198k today and I was getting a little humming noise driving so I replaced my two idlers and a new drivebelt

looks like they were due

I replaced the lower ball joints and had no problems on my 99 LS.. and I don't see the TRE's being a problem..
