The only susbstantive difference is that VDIM now comes on the IS250. The rest is just cosmetic and re-jigging the packages and prices. My IS250 comes with the VIDM already................ Not unless you have an '09. You mean VSC.

I saw the pix, and they showed wood. It actually looked like the Ebony Wood, ala GS.

This one is just too easy to have the dealer do it--even if you have to crack open the manual.

You shouldnt have to worry, the dealer is supposed to change it everytime you visit. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It amazes me that stuff like that MUST be ajusted by the dealer. GM cars, for example, have a dash knob that can adjust the light sensitivity. There's just no good reason they can't make some of those things driver adjusted--especially light sensitivity and auto shut off. man ... you folks are some of the laziest bloggers i have come across in this website! just press the damn lock key TWICE on the key fob and the lights will go off immediately! quit your whining like the Republicans! :P I dont know about you, but I got a car with Smart Key so I didnt have to use the fob.

I had the TSB done 2 weeks ago on my '07. I wouldn't be too broken up. There's definitely LESS dust, but it isn't even close to dust free. I'd say its about 1/2 the dust.

I had trouble programming my HomeLink. Once I replaced the batteries in my garage door remote, the programming worked immediately.

On an 08, you have to pull the dash apart. You can't input a "cheat" code--that only worked on the 06.

Possible, and expensive. Search around here, or Club Lexus, and you'll find out how to do it.

Cars.com says RX350 is 0-60 in 7.4. Pretty sure that's faster than my AWD.

You can turn them off. The camera doesn't help with knowing how close you are to the curb or parking stripe.

1. Must haves are a personal preference. I like the nav option, but that's a personal preference, and many others will tell you to get a Garmin. The built in Bluetooth in the nav is great. 2. Don't have it--not standard. It's a port-installed option 3. I got AWD, so there wasn't much of a choice. You will notice a big difference if you are comparing a G35, but the power is not that different from an A4 2.0T or a 328. 4. I got an '07 last year for about $700 over invoice. Depends on the model (250 vs 350) and area of the country.

DONT get the 350 i have a friend who got it and he hates it b/c he said in stop and go traffic he always feels like vomiting b/c he's thrown back and forth from stopping and accelerating at the stop lights Sounds like your buddy just doesn't know how to drive...

Why would you want a bunch of total strangers, biased toward Lexus as members of a Lexus forum, to "convince" you to get one? If you are going to spend that much money on a car, do some research, test drive, and decide if it's right for you. Otherwise, you may get stuck with a car that's just not right for you.

Mr. Smooth1, I agree 99%. However I am not sure what you mean by VW not being enough car but I admit they seem to be like in a separate german category, still they are reliable well "german" designed cars (or at least used to be?) I had an 84 Scirocco that finally sold in 2000 after 210K miles and it would not quit going. Still VW seems to be usually out of place or behind the rest but have a strong following. Again in the BMW/Lexus debate, I am not sorry at all for my choice. JA, No Oil dipstick. They are nuts !!!! I agree--citing to ONE example car which is 25 years old is absolutely no comparison to the current reliability of ANY car sold today.
