Winter Garden huh? Winter Park here. Welcome to the LOC. I'm not sure what your refering to about the suspension being more of a drop in the rear than the front. Do you mean why do people have or like that set up??? What is it that you would like to do with a new suspension? Do you want to lower it, or replace the stock suspension and maintain stock specs? As for the CAI. The SRT comes with a piggy back chip that you solder in to the ECU. As far as I am aware they are the only ones. the rest of them are only intake systems. As for going generic, that may or may not be a head ache you may not want to deal with. I would use a name with a proven background. K&N, Injen, SRT, and a few others. Some people say that the cold air intakes don't do anything for the IS300's though. SO you might wanna wait till you find out more before you go out and get one. I have a brand new K&N Typhoon in the garage I was going to put on, but I have decided to go supercharged, so I was going to sell it. If later you decide you still want to go with a CAI, let me know if your interested. I'll sell ya mine. But to answer your question, they all perform about the same. I think it's more about fit and quality. K&N is the only one I know have that comes with a Dyno sheet to show performance. I guess that made it worth more to me.

what kind of demon eyes did you use ? were they the cold cathode tubes or LED's?

Or if you have the owner manual with the code for the master key, you can go to the dealership and they can chip the key. See, there is a computer chip in the key. If the code on the key doesn't match the code in the ECU, it won't start. all you did so far was program the remote buttons on the key.

Here is something you might try. Call the dealership back and talk to the service tech. have him give you the number for Lexus customer service. See if you can talk to them directly and inform them of the issue you have with the dealer.( You told them a year ago about the problem, it was under warrentee then and now it has gone bad and the warrentee has expired and now the dealership won't help you out. In alot of cases Lexus has stepped in to have the dealer make arrangements for things like this to get taken care of. Lexus wants a happy customer. The reason I said call the service tech and ask for the Lexus number is because they really don't want you calling Lexus. It makes them look bad. Most people don't even think of this as an option so they get away with alot. But remember, they are not Lexus, they are a dealer that sell's Lexus. Some of them are instructed to say they will call on your behalf to keep you from calling. It could be worth the try, if for no other reason than to help that dealership get the recognition they deserve. ;)
