  1. You could go black calipers with red Lexus emblems on it. That would be way cool! That way if the red isn't dead on it won't really matter.
  2. Italian grilling ( MMMMmmmm!)
  3. I would paint the calipers first then. The paint will cost you about 30 bucks, the decals were 10. And man do they make a huge difference. Whatever color you pick will be great. You can do the actual brake change over later. Then I would work on lowering it. That won't be cheap, but the stance of the car is awsome!!!!!! And of course rims and tires. But that goes without saying!!! LOL!!
  4. The thread continues. I transferred all the mods to the new 2005. Everything is the same. The car is even the same color. I haven't posted prices so much because I kinda get everything from a wholesale dealer friend of mine. I only know what I pay him, I don't really know how much all this stuff really costs. If you want prices, I have everything listed here. You can go to any aftermarket online store and get the prices. But I agree, it's not cheap. But if you do it one thing at a time and just pace yourself, it's really not that hard on the wallet. I'm pretty much just gearing up for the supercharger at this point.

  10. family Bye Denny. Take care and stay safe. You should build a 72' Cuda hot rod over there. No mufflers. tell em that's what we do over here. LOL!!!
  11. How you liking it was for mjnoles about the nav system. about the CAI, just let me know when your ready. If I still have it you can buy it, if not then your SOL.
  12. I just don't understand why they couldn't have done touch screen? How are you liking it?
  13. CAI is 175.00 Saves ya 50 bucks and shipping.
  14. The reason you probably didn't get the full rated life is that you live in a very warm region year round. Also your driving habits play a big role in it. Very few people ever see the full rated life of tires. I would stay away from 80,000 mile tires unless you are solely budget minded. Generally speaking, tread life is traded for performance. the compound of the tire is hardened to make it last longer. Harder compounds get less traction. So it really depends on your needs. From the list of tires you have here, Goodyear Eagle responce edges are the best ones you have listed. If your going to get Michelin's, don't mess around, get the Pilots. they are one of the best tires out right now. Second would be the Perelli P6000 Powergy. Those ride very nice and perform great. But if your really wanting a comfortable tire that performs well and has a tread warrentee, then I would say the Bridgestone Potenza RE 92. Kind of the middle of the road compromise tire. All these I already know come in your size. So you can pick. Me? I would go with the Pilots. But I like performance.
  15. You say when you put an air flow meter on it fixed the problem for awhile? And it does it when you hit bumps? What grounding kit do you have on the car? Have you checked all the connections? The grounding kit would be my first guess. Bumps may be jarring a bad connection. I would especially check the wiring to the MAF sensor. Maybe even clean the MAF and see if that helps also.
  16. ( repeat word) Jacuzzi...
  17. Damn nickle and dime!!! Sorry your havin a hard time with the petty stuff. Just keep asking to talk to the boss of the person your talking to. Eventually someone with the authority and customer service ethics will hear you.
  18. We kinda just do what is in front of us at the time. We don't have any assigned chores. I grill on the nights I want to, she cooks on the nights she wants to, and we eat out on the nights niether of us want to. " Sharing---> Dutch" Chocolate
  19. That's okay, we suddenly get very "unsure" if cashmere gets washed in hot or cold water and how much bleach to use. :whistles: And Oh yeah, the light bulb that's out. Right, I'll get to that. LOL!!!!!! Skippin school.
  20. alright, the LED's all came in. The 6 bulb just barely fits into the housings for the plate light. Looks awsome!! I have 6500K HID headlights which are mostly white with a slight purple, These LED's look like a match now!!! I also got the universal LED for the dome light. It's a flat piece of plastic with 12 LED's mounted in it and comes with different plug endings to fit whatever application you need. WOW is that much better!!!!!! They sell even bigger ones, I think I might get a larger one and transfer this one to the map light, and put an even bigger one in the dome. The LED light looks soooooooooooo good on the black leather at night. My wife noticed right away. So I'll get the trunk light to now and all the accessory lighting will be LED on the IS now. Very cool.So now I really want to do the dash.
  21. Oh ok, yes, the stock set up is 7 1/2 inches in the front and 8 inches in the rear. Generally, when you lower it, like I did 1", you want it to be more level. If you want to see for yourself, measure the well behind the front tire to the ground. Now go to the rear and measure the well in front of the rear tire. Should be a half inch differrence. If you want to maintain that 1/2 inch, you can easily adjust most suspension kits to maintain that offset if you want.
