  2. It's a thin cut ribeye steak dipped in olive oil then breadcrumbs are pressed into the steak, Placed on a grill until the crumbs are brown and topped with garlic, lemon, oregano salt and pepper. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!! YUMMY.... Grilled That's one on me also. Never heard of it. ( Must be one of those EYEtallanio menu items....) Grilled-----> Medium rare.
  3. I've seen your POS Camaro... but, I've seen the after pics. What was it I said about it??? I dunno.......
  4. Smart marketing?? You mean if they were to compare it to the worst in in it's class, that would be dumb marketing? " Oh yeah, last year that was them." I don't think it's about unfair comparisons. I think it would be cool to see a better selection of diversity in comparisons. Why do they only stack SUV's against SUV's? Why not compare the Hyundia Sonata to the Mercedes Benz AMG 500? Think of the case Hyundia could make in buying thier car over the AMG! Or why not put a Honda Accord up against a Porsche 911 Turbo Targa? The Accord would probably win based on the formulas alone! ( More leg room, less cramped passenger room, and the trunk is 10x's bigger !!. Overrated? So, tell me, what would you put above it "in this class"? Or rank higher? By the way, I'm sort of playing devils advocate here. I really don't like any comparisons that rate vehicles one over the other. Because then it's their opinion, passed off as facts, just because Motor Trend says that Tonka makes a better toy than Playskool, does that make it so? Should Playskool just go out of business then?
  5. Del Monico ( ribeye)
  6. Man I just sold a 98 A4. I couldn't beleive how cheap the plastic is on the interior of that car!!! Painted plastic. wears of and you have this creamy white underneath. Sucked!
  7. okay, here's my point of view also. I think that Hyundia has a different hurdle to over come. When Toyota and Honda, and even Nissan for that matter decided they were missing out on a portion of the market,( Luxury), they decided to do it under the brief guise of a different name. It was just to hard to say Toyota over Mercedes Benz when asked to part with 40+ grand. Hence Lexus, Acura, and Infinity. This approach wasn't new by any means, but it offered them a way to either distance themselves from a flop, or marry themselves to a success. Remember when Lexus was known as "poser" luxo with no hp. Mercedes, BMW, Cadillac, constantly out classed the new-be's. But they kept going and have "learned" this area of the market. And now produce some of the finest vehicles on the market. And it's not just about quality. For me, it was also the "combination of features that makes up the company philosophies. I think any auto manufacturer can make a very good $40-50,000.00 car.Even Chevrolet has the Corvette, Ford has the GT, which is a 150,000 car, and Dodge has a Viper. I mean come on, there are no "trade secrets" any more. The formula is out there for all to see. What I think car manufacturers have a hard time with is appealing to the 40-50,000.00 car buyer. So Hyundia chose to be the budget car for some 12 years now. Never mind how good the car is, if I have 40 grand to spend on a car, Hyundai just does not place well on that list. Even though they priced the Veracruz about 10 grand under the Lexus, with lease options, financing options, and incentives,it's not that much less on the grand scale of things, not to mention reputation and the affluence of being able to reply to the question of what do you drive, " A Lexus." or "A BMW." etc. etc., which names have become known as status, quality, and acheivment. Let's face it, when we think of owning a "dream ride", I just don't know anyone who says " A Hyundai,,," So, they have to learn that we don't buy just the car, we buy the name. I think it's funny how the magazines are "paid to help" with complimentary articles and reviews also. I know when I read the review what kept running though my head was " Yeah, but it's a Hyundai."---" Hey Chuck, come over and check out my new Hyundai!, it just beat the Lexus RX in a heads up test in Motor Trend Magazine! " As Chuck gets out of his ML 430, I'm sure he's brimming with excitement. LOL!!! Was this a bit too honest?
  8. Focal, huh? nice stuff! I haven't seen any custom door panels that were done for sale. All the custom applications were for a specific use. Especially for what your asking. So, what I would do is convert the pockets in the rear doors for the mid-bass, and run the mid-range in the front door postion. Are you doing anything with the 6x9's on the rear deck lid also?
  9. (LOL!!!) and toast
  10. Did I tell you my first car was a POS 1969 Camaro?..............

I also eat Breyers ice cream almost every night. Not alot. but a small bowl. I love Rocky Road, cookies and cream, and vanilla bean, over warm grilled peaches. My all time favorite dessert is Bananas Foster,,,,,MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!! Let's see, I also like to put some sliced apples in a small dish, put some butter, a little sugar and some cinnamon, nuke it for a few minutes, like fresh apple pie at your finger tips... Peanut butter anything.....
  13. Yeah, I think they put cocaine in the cheesey puffs......
  14. I am a very big audiophile. I have been for 25+ years. While I agree with your theory, I disagree with your method. Everyone has different tastes along with different ears. What may sound good to you may sound terrible to some one else. I think the problem with the ML system is that they didn't take that into account. In fact, that's why alot of the "best "audio manufacturer's never do well in sales. For example, Let's take the Carver 1.5 T. A great amplifier, with technology still ahead of it's time. The Adcom GFA series, Krell, and even Mark Levinson, all great equipment. They undoubtely and faithfully reproduce music very accurately. So accurately that it has the aumbiance of a morge, or a flourescent light. People want surrealistic sound. Tube amplifiers sound like a warm velvet on you skin, the Marrantz HDAM technology awsome!!!!! It almost makes your CD's sound like a real stage in front of you. No brightness to the sound at all. I don't think car buyers need to appreciate ML, I think ML needs to appreciate it's buyers. While the ML system is based on a surrealistic theory, with accoustic imaging technics, are you saying we can't listen to rap or hard rock on our ML systems because it's not designed to reproduce that kind of music? Or are you saying that only Jazz and classical music fully employs the dynamic qualities of the ML system? My opinion has allways been, if the equipment can't keep up with me, then it's not real equipment worth my time. Especially when there is plenty out there that can. For example, Polk audio makes a very accurate car audio speaker, and it takes more abuse than you can almost throw at it. I am of course talking about their compitition line. There is alot more out there, I was just giving an example.
  15. Orlando Lexus service center is like a posh hotel, 2 60" LCD tv's in a real living room setting with over stuffed couches and ottomans, a sound proof room for the kids to play in, 6 terminal internet cafe, a grill with all the complimentary soda and coffee you can drink, and if you don't wanna wait there, they have a 160+ cars in their courtesy car fleet. Not to mention that the service there is by far, the best.

  17. Yeah, it's hard to tell, but it looks like the driver side bulb isn't sitting in there properly. try getting the bulb back out of there, and then make sure the rod that runs along the bulb is at the bottom. or closest to the ground. If you look at the black base of the bulb, you'll see there are notches in it that have to align with the socket in order for it to go in all the way. I would start by double checking that first.

  19. Wausau, Wisconsin here I go through Wausau 3-4 times a year on my way to Door County, The construction there is terrible. It's been going on for 15 years ??? Are you taking 2-51-10? or 45-10? Door county huh? I think that must be the coldest peninsula in the world!!!! But it is beautiful there. Iv'e been to Sturgeon Bay and Washington Island a few times. Isn't that where all the old ship wrecks are? I can't remember. Hwy 29 east/west Yeah there are plenty of shipwrecks in and around Deaths Door (between Gills Rock and Washington Island) The weather there in the summer is fantastic, It has it's own weather system being surrounded by water on all sides. Hwy 29 to Eau Claire from Wausau!! Made that trip many times. dc, it seems we have alot in common. I'm starting to think we may be related somehow......
  20. Yeah, it's hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like the driver side might be the one not in the right way.
