( one more, Harry, played by Emil Sitka 1975. After Larry had a stroke.) Curly was allways my favorite until the last 10 years of which Larry became my favorite. IMHO, nobody could ever make a better co actor. When Curly and Moe go at it, look at Larry and how well he plays the third guy. His reactions and facial expressions and timing. He is hilarious!!!!) The manufacturers warrentee started the day registration was originally issued. So if the car was bought in June of 04, the warrentee expires June of 08. And yes the original warrentee stays with the car no matter how many times it's sold. Was the car dealer serviced? If so, you can take the car in to service, and they can run the vin number and tell you the service records, and when the warrentee expires and so on. Also, carfax the car. You can do it on line, it's only a few dollars, get the carfax. I buy and sell alot of cars. Get the carfax. Look it over. It will tell you where and when the car was originally purchased. If it was a company car or a private buyer. and if the carfax is clean,( no accidents reported) then you atleast have that out of the way. Once you buy the car, and you go to the dealership you are going to take the car for regular services, talk to them about which extended warrentee you should get if you want one. They will know who they like to deal with and which ones have the best options for you. There are so many ways for those ext. warrentees to screw you out of paying, I have often wondered if your better off not getting them at all.

you'll be okay then. I had to do something extra with 2 wires that they fixed in the 02. I *fixed* the problem... I figured that maybe the ground wire was too long and shortened it up and grounded it behind the stereo again. The sound is nearly gone, and I think it's to the point where I'm just gonna have to live with a little whining. I'll just tell people it's my turbo :whistles: LMAO!!! Yeah, tell em you have to drive with the brake on because you keep breaking passengers necks with the sudden G force pulls. LOL!!!! You might wanna beef up the ground off the alternator and battery also. That might be where the rest of the noise is coming from. The AVIC draws more power than the stock radio. The extra power draw may be taxing the voltage load of the car. I have a Hyper ground kit on my car, along with the Hyper voltage system. The Hyper ground kit beefed up all the ground wires from 8 gauge wires to 14 gauge oxygen free, gold capped cables.

Got A Speeding Ticket, Even With Radar Detector On!
smooth1 replied to LexKid630's topic in General Chat
Ok, if I were you now, I would put a governor on your motor and set it for 54 miles an hour, and find a new way home!!!! Dayum!!!! 2 tickets in 2 weeks for the same thing? On the same road? I might even consider painting the fleet urban camoflauge and just lay low. LOL!! How does the driving penalty system work in RI? I mean, here in Florida, they have traffic school. If you get a ticket, and you elect traffic school, then they reduce the fine, you go to the class, prove you passed, and you get no points and it's not on your driving record. You can only attend the class once a year, and 5 times total in a life time. If you don't take the class, then you pay the fine and get points put on your driving record, like I think speeding is 2 or 3 points. Once you get to 12 you lose your liscence, and they take 1 point off every year that you don't have any other tickets. Just curious as I know that it differs from state to state. It's a shame you already paid the first one. You could have went to court and got made a deal to pay one and drop the other. Now your gonna look bad because of the first ticket. -

Yeah, if you look inside the fog light unit, you'll see a magnifying lense, that's what is yellow. And it's part of the fog light itself. They sell clear fog lights replacements, but they are not cheap, as it's a full replacement set. Check over at Carson's L-tuned. I think I saw them there. Maybe Lextasy has em.

Well, intermitten could mean that these symptoms occur only under certian circumstances, you just may not have realized what circumstances create the condition. As I can't test drive the car and feel or see the symptoms myself, I can only read your post, which I just read again, Your issue is when you take your foot off the gas to slow down, then as you re accellerate the car boggs down and then returns to power? If that is the case, I apologize for my first diagnostic. I thought it was an acceration issue. I think you have a bad knock sensor. It may be reading rich and retarding the timing.

Did you make sure the bulb is seated properly? during the day, take a close look at the bulb and you will see there are 2 small tabs that fit in the notches before you put the spring clip back on.

Could be several issues, the catalytic converters could be clogged or flowing poorly, you may have dirty 02 sensors. Sometimes when they get dirty, they don't read as well, and may be making the a/f too rich, or it could be bad fuel injectors or a fuel injector leak. These are the fuel side problems it could be. On the electrical side, you may have a coil problem, wich may not be producing enouph juice under acceleration, or may be taking a bit longer to charge up, or if you had a maintence service lately, they may have miss gapped the plugs, or not gapped them at all. On the air side, just because they replaced the air filter, doesn't mean you don't have a clogged intake, or dirty throttle body. I would check the air intake ducts and just make sure they are all clear and clean. then open the throttle body up and give it a good look over and cleaning if you can.

for a 92 SC300 the best place would be Level 10, or IPT. I think you buy em, but it would be better to send them yours and have them custom make it for you.

WOW!!,, Sorry to hear that. Can you find someone to do a vavlebody upgrade? I might be able to get my hands on one and have it shipped to you. I can also get you custom torque converter. Which these are the 2 bare minimum things you will need. I have a little over 400 whp, and the torrque converter just laughs at me, I'm starting to have problems with it already, and the tranny has trouble shifting when I put about half throttle on it.

No the screw on ones were too much, this one just fits over the exisisting one. lmao!!
