  1. Sexxxxxy!!! (It's MetrOdome Smooth.... from a former Minnesotan) Yeah, well, I'm a man of today,,,so, metro,,,,metra,,, LOL!!! Sexxxxxy!!!----> Babes!!!
  2. I have used amsoil for over 14 years and tried alomst every oil they have. I have used other like supertech, mobil, and others. There 5w-30 was very week (and did thicken in my ES) and I am now like 5000 miles into there 0w-20 oil....WAY better performance here. Worth the same price. I have way to many UOA on there 5w-30 (asl) and will compare to there 0w-20.. PLus I gained some serious mpg with the switch. Really? I was looking into the new line 0w-30. Your using the 0w-20? How many miles do you have on that motor? I also like to use Lucas products. I like the oil extender stuff that makes the oil stay on top of the motor for cold starts. I've noticed it starts, well, cleaner for a lack of being able to find a better description. The car seems to turn a little quicker.
  3. A650E is the IS 300 tranny. Turboeast put in the upgraded valvebody, Upgraded sprags and clutch packs. The tranny is rated to hold 600-700 rwtq. When I get it, I'll add the tranny cooler to it.
  4. Hell yeah, in fact, everyone come and we'll make it a party!!!! So long as the tranny gets changed before I get drunk!! LOL!!! LMAO!!
  5. Well, I just found a great alternative to my issue. I just bought a A650E 5 speed auto race built by Turboeast. So I can keep the tranny I have stock, if I ever want to go back, or need another one for the future. I got the tranny for 1750 bucks including shipping. Considering I was gonna pay 3600+ shipping both ways, I think this may be a very good deal. So, lets hope the guy is on the level. Now I just need to get my torque converter built. Yo Jibby, wanna come over and help me change out my tranny? Yeah, I can do it myself, but I figure a few beers and a fast Lexus to work on would be fun for both of us! LOL!!!! Yo Flop, you can come too.

  8. Turbonetics kit is 4200 bucks. I got everything in the kit without the Unichip for wholesale 2600 bucks and then got the AEM for 400. So my kit total was 3k. The whole thing went in perfectly, with no issues other than I needed a stiffer spring for the bov which they sent for free. I have heard good things about the SRT kit, but that comes with a Garrett Turbo. ( I had a bad experience with Garrett, so no more Garretts for me.) But that doesn't mean they make a bad product. Do it right and you'll save yourself alot of headaches.
  9. if you dont care about passing smog definitely go with some nice stainless headers with any upgraded exhaust and 3 inch piping all the way back, no cats, that will give it a definitely meaner sound along with a short ram or cold air intake if you wish Well, headers won't do anything for your sound, but it removes 2 of the cats to improve some air flow, and a 3" exhaust line is actually a terrible idea unless your running boost. 3" will take away to much pressure and you'll lose torque. I wouldn't go with more than 2 1/2 at the most. If you look at all the race pipes for the IS 300, unless they are turbo spec exhaust systems, they are all 2 1/2 pipes. But here again, it won't make the car any louder. I think a catback system is all you'll need for more sound. In fact you may be able to just replace the muffler to get what your looking for. More than that and it's more about power and air flow improvement, not sound.

  12. The AEM is probably your culprit. I think there are only a few intakes that don't throw up that cel. The K&N, SRT, and JoeZ. There may be a few more, but I know these are ok. Iv'e heard a few others have to deal with the cel with the AEM intake. The exhaust sytem you put on I imagine is a cat back system? If so, that will have no effect on the 02 sensors.

  14. Komail, weclome to the thread. Well, first obstacle is hurdled. We welcome our new addition to the Smooth family,a 1996 Nissan Sentra GXE, 5 speed manual, pw, pl, ps, ac, cruise, tilt, aftermarket stereo, very clean inside and out, 1 owner car. He said he averaged around 32 mpg with it. ( We'll see, but I'm sure great anyway.) I'll post some picks later. So, now the Monster can go back up on the racks for a few weeks while I work out all the rest of the issues, and drivetrain. YES!!!!
  15. Installed???? Awsome!!!!! I wanna see!!!!!!!!! Dude, pics man, pics!!!! How you likin it?

  22. Yeah, so now you understand my plight. So, I went to Cottman transmission,,,,,Hell no way they are touching my car!!!!!! So, I'll make a few more phone calls around here, and if I can't put something together here locally, then I'll just have to do it long distance. So here is the plan. Look around locally more first. Buy a small gas friendly car for around 1500 bucks. Put the Is in the garage and pull the tranny and tq converter. Send out the tranny to level 10 and have them do the tranny upgrade. Once I get the tranny back, and new torque converter, install them and then of course test it out. LOL!!( evil laugh as I look to check off a few more victims on the hit list!) Then i'll have the budget car to drive around while I have the monster under wraps and getting the finish work done.
