  2. will a 93-94 speed sensor work for me (1990)? compare on 15" rims is a good idea, give will it a try thanks for your comment on my English, yes i was taught in VN. i am living in HCM, if you are back to VN, lets have a drink :)
  3. not always that bad, what i read in dealer service manual is that, engine light goes on when CPU detects error(s) but CPU is desinged for fail-safe meaning to say if CPU detects a broken down sensor, it will be able to use its own data stored in CPU memory as a backup. the backup data is not ideal for the engine but it gives the car a chance to run so the driver can finish the journey before going to a repair workshop hope this helps
  4. Hi 92Lex, might be both inaccurate :-( where can i look into? VN road is getting better, vehicle has recently got a plus of 10-20 km/h to max speed your from VN?
  5. anyone knows how to set the seat memory, i think, when properly set, the driver seat will move backward while steering wheel moves upward and retracks close to daskboard and everything goes back to preset position upon key insert

  8. Hi all, my 1990 LS400 has seat memory option, however, whatever i tried to set it up, the seat wont move an inch when i remove/ insert the key some facts: - steering column memory still work (it goes up and move away from me when removing the key then comes back when insert) - seat power adjustment works fine for all directions the way i set memory is: - with engine off, turn key to on position, press 1 while pressing Set until hearing a beep - manually change seat/ steering wheel position then press 2 while pressing Set until hearing a beep but in wont work (seat doesnt move on key insert/ remove) anyone can help? Thanks
  9. the ex-owner of my 1990 LS400 had changed the rims from original 15 to 16" which in turn makes the speedo meter indicates wrong speed display. GPS shows 100km/h while the speedo tells 80km/h :cries: given that the 93-94 model use 16" rims, should i replace my current speed sensor with the 93-94 one? are they compatible? thanks for any advise
