  1. Yes, that is BS!. The battery probably has a bad cell. Check it with a hydrometer. My truck sits for weeks without being started and starts right up.
  2. I hesitate to say it again, but aviation has been using nitrogen in tires for 50 years. The reason is that nitrogen has no moisture in it. Compressed air,unless filtered, contains moisture that over time attacks the steel in the wheels and some belted tires.
  3. Not defending but might there be a lockout to stop you from putting it in neutral at full throttle? I don't know and don't intend to try it.
  4. In response to the above, The rotors were melted and he was a driving instructor for the CHP.
  5. Parts stores in Ca. are no longer allowed to read an obd for you. Some were caught selling unneccessary parts.

  7. It's a reach but the wrong head gaskets may have been installed and some of the water jackets are blocked.

  9. You must have missed the PSA pics of the hot pants. They have a jacket on for the pic but the hot pants were shorter than SWA.

  13. Did a search and no joy. How often should the red antifreeze be changed? I have reviewed the maint. schedule and nowhere does it say to change it, just check and add.

  16. If you have membership in IPTORRENTS there is a torrent download there for the 2010 Mitchell program. It's almost 80 gb's so you need a lot of room on the hard drive.
  17. If you hit hard enough to bend rims and flatten tires you may have damaged other parts of the suspension. I would find a good frame and axle shop and have an inspection.
  18. Just found out that parts stores in California are no longer allowed to read an OBD for you. It seems some stores were ripping people off selling the wrong part deliberately. So the bleeding hearts in Sacramento have to protect us from ourselves.
  19. Bob Baker Toyota on Federal Blvd. is reasonable for a dealer.
  20. Be sure to burn it at the slowest speed. You also may have to try a different burning program. I have burned them with ashampoo 9.
  21. Had it been sitting on an incline before you started it? It may be a rear or forward stem seal weeping.
  22. It seems to be a common Toyota problem I found the same thing on My 1994 Camry.
  23. Conversion to 134A not that big of a deal. Google it or see a local radiator/AC mech.
  24. You must have a 609 license to buy freon 12.
