  1. mine does the same thing, I am out of warranty so I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to buy the replacement bulbs and a guide to replace it.

    thanks.

Bulb was replaced under warranty, then I replaced the car with an '09, lol. The bulb was bad was the problem.......was told it'd be about $300 at dealer rate to replace.......

  2. I was just quoted $800 for a clear bra on my IS. That covers the bottom bumper, lights, foglights, hood, and mirrors. Does this seem reasonable? I'm in Southern California.....

  3. Per the car make, it is a snail, comparing to other cars.

I had my BMW 330ci up to the limiter, which was ONLY 138, lol

I have the Lamborghini Gallardo up to 160 on the 210 freeway, and that was only cuz the traffic wouldn't let me go any faster.

Yes, 160 is fast. It's all fast.. It's just comparisons. Now, I'm not going to talk about when a friend of mine decided to test out a Ferrari 360, and got it almost up to 200, cuz I'm sworn to secrecy! ;)

  4. I've got a new one. It's in the passenger door. I don't know if it's the speaker, or in the door, since I'm always driving the car. I'll have to take it in, and I'm sure the techs won't notice anything, cuz it won't do it when they have it......

I can just push the arrow button on my A/C, to warm up or cool off, and the dash will crack. Changing temps in the car, is what I say it is. That doesn't bother me as much since it's not a "consistent" rattle, meaning over and over and over and.......

Jay, let me know how you like the '09. I've been thinking about a new one, but with the economy going the way it is, have held off a little bit..........

  5. Yeah, I just called my service advisor, and he told me it related to certain VIN numbers, and mine is an older-model 2007, so don't have to worry about the "rack and pinion." lol.

I didn't receive anything in the mail from Lexus re the fuel lines. However, I did get a letter from them this week telling me to bring in my car for the 45k service.

  6. Took my car in yesterday for the 45,000-mile service, and my service advisor told me that Lexus was going to replace my fuel lines free of charge. I asked him if it was a recall, and he looked at me with a grin and said the name of whatever it was, Service something-or-other, but said it was basically a recall. It wasn't anything from a higher-up source telling Lexus to do it, they were doing it on their own.

Anybody heard of this? I guess I could do some research, but thought I'd start here first.....

And geesh, I haven't been on here in a while, I just saw ri****in was banned! (Or however his name was spelled, ya'll know who I mean......) I really need to read all of those posts, lol!
