  1. They cannot be remove with out taking off the whole assembly.
  2. If you just bought it last month, they should have fill it for you. Just ask them to fill it, it wouldnt hurt to ask.
  3. gsnoles. how many miles a year do you drive. 26K miles is 3 years for me :) You can always buy a extended warranty when you are at about 50K miles. There is a guy on the internet selling a 7 year 100,000 miles lexus warranty for the GS at about $2000. The 350 sounds like a better deal since it has ML and nav and $35900 is a good price. Almost too good, I would do some research on that car before you write out the check.
  4. Go test drive the 350, you will never look at another 300 again :)
  5. They are clear-coated not vinyl coated. Thats why leather conditioner dont do a thing for them.
  6. The 09 MB E Class comes with leatherette upholstery, thats almost a crime for a $50K car in my opinion. Most manufacturer use vinyl in the back and side of the seat even if it is leather seats. I sat in a E class with the eatherette upholstery and it just doesnt feel good. They can say all they want, I can tell its not leather and so can my wife.
  7. The mileage on the 350 is a tad better, while the 350 is actually faster to 60mph. It kind of like compare old engine technology with new.
  8. On the 04, the passenger seat had a manual tilt or was the power tilt broken?
  9. On the owner's manual, its states that the GS use high friction brake pads and may need to be replace as soon as 20000 miles. If you need new pad, I would ask for the Lexus low dust pads which will last longer or use afteramrket pads.
  10. There is a TSB out for the 07 GS350 for excessive brake dust. Ask your dealer to change out the brake pads to the low dust pads according to the TSB.
  11. Its like pot luck, but a lot of GS rattles. Its a very common problem with the GS, very un-Lexus like.
  12. Unless the battery is dead in the sensor or it was damaged, it should be covered. A leak is not wear and tear, I would talk to the service manager and go higher up if needed.
  13. I am on of the lucky 08 owners, I had the dust and squeaking.
  14. Anything OEM always cost more and the after markets are not acoustic windshields. Some major aftermarket windshield companies have very good quality.
  15. And its not intutive, if someone else drives your car, they would have no idea why it doesnt start like every other push button starts.
  16. The turn signal is the DRL and the headlights turns on automatically when its dark outside. When the headlight is on the DRL is off.
  17. I hope you are kidding, push the button 3 times to start the car, I dont think anybody would want that.
  18. I ran it thru the car wash a few times, no damage to the rear spoiler.
  19. If you disable it, how would you get to on or acc position?
  20. I use to click lock twice to shut off the headlight, I had the dealer change the setting so the headlight shuts off when I open the driver door with car off. The auto 30 second lock only works if you unlock the and do not open the door for 30 seconds, it will lock itself. If you are driving and exit and turn off the car, it will not lock itself.
  21. You are not suppose to patch the run-flats but I have heard some dealers are willing to do it.
  22. So basically, just use any spray silicone based lubricate?
