actually there is a screw holding the back of the fog light housing... if u want to change out the blub u need to unscrew it >> take out the whole housing ...then the next step is pretty easy...>> change the blub... make sure u do it on a sunny/ bright day.. or u wont see anything inside.. my advise is do it on some slope and face the car upward u can see it more clearly.. the model of the light blub is: H3

i had it on mine it was common problem on ES (dealer told me)... dealer fix/change it for me....with a refrubish one... or just change out the head unit(other brand)... :chairshot:

:P yes you diffineitly need it .. sways- less body roll (alot) - better handling = more fun to drive... CAI- "feel" abit faster - sound so good = self enjoyment...

yes the Diff fluid is FILL by the same "HOLE" but with differenct DRAIN hole...

not a problem...m2pc.. yes.. its $90 CAD..but which is still $70 USD... and it still a rip off.. anyway i think m just going to leave it rite now...(i already did vaccume it) but hey those badly smell is gone at least... if it going to smell bad next year.. i may be possible to change it... is it me or not.. i always feel Hand brake is much safer than the Foot brake..when it CAME into emgenecy...since u can HOLD/ Release faster.... also i m totally agree with the mirror rear view mirror (EXT/INT)..should be part of the memory... and the rear sit dont fold down all the way too... just a little "ski-hole" btw the passanger... i have no idea why they design not to fold all the way down.. that is kind of silly design... :chairshot:

u dont have a Trac control off bottom..?? wat year do u have? i think the TRAC/off buttom is located on the bottom of your steering wheel.... yea.. mine doesnt have a CD changer either.... only TAPE player... i m wondering do the 02+ ES came with a TAPE player..??

this review is base on my 97 ES 1. the Front Driver and passager cup holder is design badly... - it always block my way to shift.. - cant reallly hold any size of drink...ur drink just float around :chairshot: 2. Foot barke/Emerg brake.. - not very convience :chairshot: 3. Silly looking Shift knob P R N D 1 2 - look so much like my GF Corolla... :( - instead of straight up/down boring " I "design...i perfer it look like " S " or " U "

i just take out the cabin filter in my 97 ES... they are kind of dirt..as i want to change it.. i call the dealer to ask how much for the A/C filter.. they quote me $90(tax include) and yes.. 90 buck for a filter.. and i m even more *BLEEP*s....so i just take it out and use my household vaccumc to clean all the dust....so instead of buy a new one for $90.. i did clean it myself.... the filter itself also lable "CLEAN WITH high perssure air only" and i think it mean it is "REUSEABLE" so i think that is diff design then the air filter with u have to change them every 5000 km.. :chairshot:

for sure u wont find any performance for the ES... but hey.. u can look at the Camry and solara parts(all 3 are from the same chassis)... since most of the parts is inter-changeable.

u should be able to fit it in w/o any problem...

first of all.. i really like the interior of the new ES look so much like an LS.... but for sure not the exterior, of the newer ES.. they dont got the "Frame LESS door/window" any more..(which i like the most) also the body-line of the newer ES look too similiar to the Domsetic such as FORD Tarus and Crys Interperi. look to much like a "boat"

hey.. from the pic it post .. it wasnt that bad of damage... but that consider as totalled..? from the pic all i see is hood, fended and bumper damage...

hey.. there are more choice than the IS rims.... but for 97-99 es.. i would not go over 17 IMO.... also i got the same colour as ur car.... nice choice..
