  3. PS takes intense comp skills to even start to understand the program, Most novices delve into PS and can't ever understand what or why they applied an app to a image. The best advise is to view the HELP section of the program and familiarize yourself with each and every/ function of the program. My best guess is that it will take you 1 year of intense study to familiarize yourself with every function that the program has to offer, By then the updates will superseed your absorbsion of what you just learned. But that is what will make you good at it. Just an observarion from a novice. Do study it and move forward, Most get intimidated with the program. Nice start. ;)
  4. Slight, But none to be overly concerned. You can always ask our esteemed members and I am sure they will be more than happy to be of assistance. ;)

  9. silver_serpent, I'll be willing to bet you a beer that there is a wiring harness tucked way up in the drivers side behind the trunk liner, In other words your car is /should be prewired for the cd changer. All you need is a headunit with the cd button and a changer, Both of which are pretty easy to obtain, So it is/should be plug and play. Let us know what you find. And yes, My 93 es is keyless entry/alarm.
  10. I find myself coming back to this post to stare at that beautiful car, I think this is the tenth time i have viewed this. M500, You made a great choice
  11. So you want me to believe you that I put on 30,000 miles I can go 20 (mean) years on the OEM hoses; or 600,000 miles???? I think not. Your time interval is fiction unless you do not put on lots of miles. Heat and vib are the killer of hoes, not so much time. Also this is not per Lexus FSM. Even they would say to not wait that long. Nevermind the fact you want me to chance a $8 hose to break and need a tow when miles from home??? To close, you want me to trust that Evens cooling fluid (with fluid vis etc) the same as normal coolant caused a head hasket to break?? Ya, right. You are leaving out more info here. Fluids do not cause gaskets to leak. There is more to it; fluids are the effect 90% of the time, not the cause; basic fluid dynamics here. To replace it, the person could have saved $950 since a gasket is about as cheap as a set of OEM brake pads. That gasket was on the verge of failing prior to changing the fluid type. Nothing can convince me otherwise. And the hose story is a joke IMHO I don't mind hearing a bs story but don't try to make it sound like fact. <_<
  12. All the intakes are about the same, The srt comes with a piggyback ecu that is really the only difference. I am suspect of there hp gain claims though. Search the forums there is a lot of chatter on this subject.
  13. None, taken. That why I already have a set of 19" ready to be mounted. Drool, Drool, Need i say more. ;) What a beautiful car B) I'm jealous.
  14. Search the Gs forums, There is a wealth of information there for you to read/study. After your 7-9th thread you will have made up your mind. So I will welcome you to the club on an early note. You won't be disapointed with any Lex. You will make the right decision. ;)
  15. Nice !!! That is one beautiful car.
  16. OK, Then what is the take on waterless coolant ? Don't get me wrong dc....I have nothing to base my comments on as I have never used that stuff, but it does sound interesting......but a half million miles? If it sounds too good to be true..... There are reports (as per Toys link to theoildrop) that it does not work well in some vehicles cooling systems. Just thought I would add something different to the thread, God knows everything else concerning coolants/oils/etc... has been ripped and torn.
  17. OK, Then what is the take on waterless coolant ?
  18. My advice: Bring it back to the dealer and take them for a drive and point out your concerns. There shouldn't be any rattles/squeaks etc... My 98 is as quiet today as the day I bought it. HMMMMMM !!!
  19. Good Luck! Yeah, Good Luck they need on a lexus forum, But I am sure it is all part of there study. That's why I participated. All jokes on the side :D
  20. OK Fair enough, 1. Lexus GS300/ES300 2. 40-50 M 3. No 4. Reliability 5. No, I demand the pursuit of perfection, No 6. Upscale oldsmobile, Need i say more. 7. Yes Now how about that beer
  21. If I answer the survey will you get me a beer ?
  22. One way to do what? I do not need to take a bucket..Going on 4 years when I dumped out Toyota and installed Fleetguard. The normal Toyota is nothing new here. Cap etc look mint. I still do not get why anyone NEEDS to uses Toyota. Does not do anymore more or less. OK, What are your thoughts on this: http://www.evanscooling.com/main25.htm
  23. Yup, I'm getting too old for this stuff personally.....I'll just concentrate on tires instead lol. :whistles: Carry on soldier
  24. I havew had experience with Lextech Lighting, and I cannot recommend then to anyone until they make things right foir me. Right now, they will not answer my eamails asking for help. Before the sale they promise the world and after the sale they 'don't know you', because 'they are way too busy to do the work accurately'. They' take a cluster off the pile' pull the needles, stick new ones on (sometimes) and on to the next'. All their talk of carefully calibrating and checking each unit is Bull$%&*. They live in the eworld, yet they can barely express themselves thru emails. Can you se4nse that I am a little unhappy with them ? vman1100... java script:emoticon('', 'smid_16') That's a complete lie. No body responds quicker through email. Go tell that jive to someone else. Then post lies a bit more. Every sentence of that was pure lie. Do you have nothing better to do? LLS, I have nothing but good things to say about your services, Just my .02 cents
  25. I find it mind boggling that when a member asks a straight forward question " what type of coolant for refill " and the thread strays to another pi$$ing contest about which coolant is better than another. Joeb51, Use toyota red coolant 50/50 with distilled water and enjoy your lex.
